Help wanted . Please and thanks .
I have a loris device . It is great except that the screw on top won’t stay secure . The lower screw that holds the PA in is totally secure . So what happens is the top screw comes out leaving the cage and ring separated and the cage hanging from the PA . Not a good situation by any stretch !
Lori says to use lock tite . You can imagine the reticence to follow that advice! My owner doesn’t want to be unable to remove and I travel a lot so need to be able to remove the cage .

I am wondering if anyone has a steel werks cage with the S screw ? Has anyone had one for a long period and can anyone comment on the S screw and have you experienced similar problem?

a metal lock is not secure enough for my owner as I could cut it off .

I have owned all of the cheap plastic cages but never a cage with a built in “barrel lock”. Are these in fact the best option?

I have not been able to see anything here about this topic. If this is the wrong place for such a question , please don’t get your cage in a knot. Let me know how to best pose the question?

What about a spot of nail polish in place of lock tite

thanks for your suggestion. Ms . Lori has had me trying using nail polish brushed on and left to dry . Perhaps I should try using nail polish wet and allowing it to dry. Same issue however . If it won’t release then what lol!
Have you used a Loris or a Steelwerks S screw ? Any e perience with ?

I read the product description on Amazon and the Vibra tite seems a good bet . Thanks chivalrous one . Expensive however cheaper than spending $1000,s on a new cage if not required.

A small piece of teflon tape works well for this.

I’m currently locked in a steelwerks cage. My cage has 5 S-Screws holding it together and I have never had one come loose. I also never had to use any thread locking chemicals.

Yes, I've used it with bolts on various projects, as well as with chastity on a Mature Metal Jail Bird cage security screw...with great success.
