The start of my FLR lock up

This is the start of my journey into a FLR relationship and an unknown time of being locked up with my wife as my keyholder.

I've dabbled with chastity in the past, most of it being a kink for a few days and always started with me locking myself up. Sometimes I would keep the key, others I would give it to my wife. It was nothing more than a fetish which always ended up with me playing with sex toys and masturbating. Over the last few years, our sex life became almost nonexistent. I think this calendar year (2022) we may have had PIV sex twice. Some reasons are recovering from surgery, kids, work and life in general. My wife is the love of my life, we've just become one of those couples who needs to schedule time in the calendar to have sex. I'm in my early 50's and recently started to think wholistically about our relationship and are determined to get the spice back. I know we are not going to be able to replicate the physical aspects of our sex drive from our twenties or thirties having sex almost every weekend and during the week. What I'm hoping we can achieve is to rekindle the emotional passion we had back then.

As I thought about how to start working on our relationship, I came to the realization I started down the path of taking care of my desires and not hers. I would watch porn on the computer and then play with myself in the shower after she had gone to bed. I read about fellow CB wearers describe how being locked help them stop focusing on themselves and direct their energy towards their significate other, which got me wondering if it would help me. The more I thought and questioned being locked, the greater my desire became to really want to embrace being locked for a long period and have my wife start transitioning our relationship into a FLR. I spoke with her about my desires, sent her links to several websites that talk about chastity, and she agreed to become a keyholder, but with some caveats / rules.

First, the cage had to be unnoticeable under my clothing. I have a CB-6000s which she said was too noticeable. Given the interchangeability of the CB-X pieces, I purchased a Mr. Stubb cage to see if the smaller size would be less noticeable. When it arrived, she gave her approval on the appearance under my pants, and we started my initial lock down. I went five days which was the longest continuous stretch I have ever done. She released me because the underside of my sack was getting chaffed by the ring. I had on a #1 (2-inches) ring and it was too tight. After healing, we locked me in the Stubb cage again but used the extra-large ring (2-1/4 inches). As I write this post, I've been locked for four days with no issues. Since I already had the CB-X system, we determined we would utilize it for the time until we find the right cage and ring sizes. Then we might consider purchasing a custom-made steel cage with the same measurements.

The second caveat was hygiene given how the CB-X system covers a bit more than other cages. The rule we established is I am to either take a shower with her or while she is in the bathroom every night. When I am done with my routine, I am released to wash the cage and my groin area. The idea behind having her present is it will prevent me from masturbating. The goal is for me to complete my washing, dry off and be locked again in no less than twenty minutes.

The third caveat is I will remain lock as long as it is practical to do so. She questions if being locked 24/7-365 is actually achievable. If we determine there is an event which being locked is questionable from an appearance perspective, I will be released for the event, but will become locked again as soon as possible. She sights flying as an example. She does not think it would be wise going through TSA even though there are plenty of stories of caged men going through with little to no issues. At this point in our journey, I am willing to accept this rule.

We both agreed to follow some basic chastity rules developed from ideas / suggestions that were found on various websites. They are:

1) My keyholder may hide the key or wear it at her discretion.
2) I will not ask about being released for sexual pleasure. I can only ask for the key when taking a shower.
3) I can discuss chastity with my keyholder at any time. She stresses open and honest communication is key to our relationship. We have known each other for over 30 years and been married for 22 of those years.
4) My chastity will not impede our daily routines.
5) We agreed the first duration will be for three months. When we will assess if my desire of being locked has helped build back that spice and if I should remain locked for a longer period.

My CB-6000s parts are all clear. The Mr. Stubb cage is pink. I told my keyholder once we get the sizing correct, I want to assemble a completely pink system. The reason is having a pink cage visual reinforces to me my parts belong to her more than having a clear or black cage. After showing her the different colors available on the CB-X website, she surprised me by directing me to purchase a pink Mini-Me cage along with pink Points of Intrigue. We are waiting for them to arrive and will be the subject of my next post.

 

Today is day seven of my journey. The remaining CB-X parts arrived yesterday. After showering, I got locked in the Mini-Me cage and L ring, with all pieces in pink. Once completely locked in my cage, it was such a turn on to see myself in this small pink cage. My keyholder had me try the smallest Point of Intrigue. It was an insane feeling having the points pressing down on me. After a few hours of the constant pressure, I had to ask my keyholder for the key to remove the points, it was just too distracting while I had to get a report completed. My mind is racing about what the sensations will be for the largest points. I made a mistake in my first post about the Points. I indicated they were pink. I purchased the clear set.

 

This past Friday was day 10 of being locked for me. We purchased a Nano cage from Locked Guys to start trying different cage styles. I started wearing it the night before and really liked how less bulky it is than the Mini-Me. Was a bit concerned about the ring size. The largest the Nano has is a 2-inch ring. I find the slightly larger 2-1/4 inch ring of the Mini-Me to be more comfortable. Even with the smaller ring, I had no issues during the night. During the day, it was hardly noticeable. I even did some moderate hiking while on a job site walk with no issues. I told my keyholder this cage so far is my favorite.

I’m not sure if it is the new cage, the current duration of being locked, or a combination of the two, but I noticed over the weekend while running around town, having the cage on was a natural feeling. It felt like I had no cage on at all. I’m encouraged by these feelings and are hoping it is a sign my body is adapting to being locked. While showering with my keyholder, I told her about these feelings and mentioned this Tuesday (11/1) will be a full two weeks for me. Everyday is a new record for me. She smiled and said “That’s good, but you are going to remain locked for much longer than two weeks.” Hearing her say that was such a turn on.

 

Yesterday (11/1) was day 14 of being locked. It was a mental milestone for me to achieve. I figured if I couldn’t make it to two weeks, it was going to be extremely difficult for me to reach three months. Given how natural the new cage feels, I’m encouraged reaching the next milestone without any issues is possible. I mentioned my joy of getting to two weeks to my wife, she responded with “That’s great, now there are 50 more to go.” That comment caught me completely by surprise. I responded by stating she appears to be embracing the keyholder role. She chuckled and said “You have no idea what you’ve unleashed” and proceeded to tell me to get in the shower because it was getting late. So far I’m enjoying this. Her sassiness is something I’ve missed. However, I do wonder what I will be posting in a month or two.

 

This was one of those weeks work-wise. Several 10 to 12 hour days attempting to keep up with the litany of emails and deliverables that were due. I finally got a break Friday afternoon and had my wife secure me in my sleep sack, another kink of mine. The sack is spandex and has arm sleeves on the inside. Once zipped in, it is like a cocoon and impossible to escape. I also put in ear plugs and have a sleep mask under the hood. It is sensory deprivation and I find it to be very relaxing after a stressful week. After zipping me in, my keyholder exposed my cage and played with it by running her fingernails over my sack and kissing it. What a great way to start the weekend.

 

Today (11/08) marks three weeks of being locked and one month since my last ejaculation. When I woke, I was fighting a morning erection, but unlike the previous days where I would wake up in discomfort from being confined in the cage, I was very horny and being contained was pleasurable. Since this is new to us, I have no idea if my feelings this morning are a sign of possible changes or just a fluke.

 

I had to be released yesterday (11/9) for what could be considered a medical reason. The day started no different that the previous ones except I was constantly horny through out the day. In the evening, my head swelled so much I could not urinate. The confinement became very uncomfortable. Then my head started itching. We removed the cage and the area behind my glands had become extremely swollen and sensitive to the touch. It also continued to itch. Thankfully I was able to urinate. The swelling subsided a bit over night, but the area is still very sensitive to the touch. Not sure what caused this adverse reaction but until it completely goes away, my wife says I’m remaining cage free. Once I’m healed, we will discuss if I’m to resume being locked up.

I’m pleased I was able to go this far being locked. It became a natural feeling having the cage on. Disappointed I have to restart the clock if I become locked again. I really wanted to reach the three month mark.

 

The swelling returned with a vengeance this afternoon to the point I was worried I might have to seek medical attention. So to all of those who are thinking about chastity, listen to the advice of having a properly fitting cage, you don’t want this to happen to you.

 

Day 24 - The swelling increased and I started to have a discharge from the surrounding area which prompted me to visit the ER. Explaining to the doctor what caused this was a bit embarrassing. After examining me, he didn’t think there was any permanent damage and the swelling should go away in a few days. The secretion and itchiness are a result of the pressure build up and skin stretching. It is just going to take time for my body to heal itself. So now I sit on the toilet for extended periods as I “sweat” and have to wear adult diapers to contain the discharge. While my days of chastity are over, I will continuing to post about my recovery to hopefully warn others of what could potentially happen to them.

 

Day 27 - The amount of discharge that I secrete has gone down along with the swelling. My wife said I’m beginning to look “normal” again. The issue I’m having now is my skin is beginning to scab over and some of the fibers of the diaper are getting embedded in the scab which makes taking the diaper off painful as the skin is pulled.

 

Stephplayswithyou - Yes, it was the cage I was wearing in the sleep sack.

IB-Chaste - No strings. The pinch point you pointed to was where the cage ended. The doctor theorized that was the only area which didn’t get “damaged”, hence the narrow section. It is deceiving due to how bad the swelling was.

The medical term for this is Penile Edema.

Day 31 - The secretion has completely stopped and I finally went a whole day without wearing a diaper. My skin started to peel similar to what happens when you get a bad sun burn. The swelling is almost gone. I have a small area right below my glands that is still very sensitive and slightly swollen. Not sure if I’m going to remain this way permanently.

Stehplayswithyou - I thought the cage was the correct size. It has the same inner diameter as the CB Mini Me which I wore with no issue. Once the swelling started, I removed the cage. How quickly the swelling started and the itching made me think I was having an allergic reaction to something. As to what caused all of this, I’m not certain. The day before, I did wear very tight panties and on a few occasions had to adjust myself because it did become uncomfortable. My theory is the tightness caused pinch points which started the fluid retention. I’m just thankful to be back to normal.
