I can normally resist temptation if I am released. Even so, once caged I like to know it's secure. For me, an integrated lock must have the lock tab covered and some friction introduced into the lock to make picking very difficult.

I think the click-lock in the new holy Trainer is interesting. For those who dont know, it's an integrated lock that opens with a key but locks with the click of a button. After a release I normally stay unlocked for the rest of the night, so I keep the key myself until after my morning shower. And then sometimes she's already gone to work while I am leaving later or work from home. With this click-lock, or of course a normal padlock, I would be able to give her the key and still lock myself.

My Lori's security screw has proven tamper proof. Granted, I augment it with a healthy dose of Purple Loctite (to ensure a level of breakaway and prevailing torque to require full contact of the key surfaces).

We tried hammer/slot, rubber band, epoxy and previous to that different bits from my 400 pc security bit set, all to no avail. 3 hours with a drill and 5 minutes w an easy out was neither fun nor easy and it will never be attempted (by me) again.

Not saying I am the best, but have both a BSME and Toolmaker cert. and I couldnt get that damn thing out easily.

My wife much prefers the padlock. She likes the clicking of it when walking naked and loves to be able to touch or pull on the lock as part of the fun and reminder that she has me caged.

An integrated lock gives you limited options to adjust the ring gap.

And, from the point of view of my key holder, she loves the symbolism of a padlock. She wants it to jangle and clink. It just adds to to the realization you are owned and controlled.

I own a machine shop. No option is safe from my tools. It is what SHE wants that decides the direction we follow. And, I do.

My KH prefers the padlock. He clearly enjoys the satisfying click when he locks it on and the general symbolism of owning my cock. Also the keys are smaller than for integrated locks which are quite cumbersome. He wears the key 24/7 around his neck.

My device has a snap-in seal...

The upside is that it makes for a much lower profile, and completely non-metallic device.

The downside is that the seal needs to be drilled out in order to remove the device, and there are only five replacement seals.

Well fhe padlock has really mich style when she opens and closes it.

Key in snap open move it out. Lovely view. The closure is the samd. Just snap and you are locked.

Integrated is better to wear though not so bulgy. Sometimes sharp edges and not so easy to get in.
Most of mine are these types. The ugly keys are the worst thing which can brought with them. Thanks to a user here I will try to make something my self. The smaller padlock keys are better and mroe aesthetic i think.

The screw i think really nice looking and the lady can wear the opening tool as a collar.

Some people say, that the screws are not safe enough. But i could pick every padlock and integrated lock open within seconds. So....

So if you dont overtighten the screws i think they are rwaly nic e to have.

I own devices that use padlock, integrated lock, and security screw. The latter is my newest device, and the one I’m currently wearing. I think my wife prefers the visual aspect of the padlock — I know for certain she prefers the metal of those cages versus the weaker pink plastic of the cage that has the integrated lock (HTv3).

But the security screw is definitely the most practical option for us. It’s quieter, less bulky, and probably a bit more secure.
