Just some friendly advice here. If you are thinking about buying a Holy Trainer, you may want to wait a few months. The reason I say this is... I am thinking of purchasing a new one myself. I was looking on their website at the 2021 V4. I decided to email them and ask if there would be a new model or version for 2022. They replied back and said that they "may have something new coming this spring" (2022). So if you plan to buy one, you may want to take a beat until you see what they come out with new, or what changes in design or style they come out with in the next few months.
V5 now on their website. Would love to see a bit more detail on the locking mechanism and size overall
I would have expected some other improvement. Don't get me wrong the lock is cool but how about extending the inverted lip on the tube? How about an authentic metal design? The bio-resin has too much flex and can be taken off with enough leverage.
They told me on IG that custom colors are weeks away - I'm waiting on those. Still using my v3 and happy enough with it, but i like the look of that lock, especially being able to lock it without a key
I am also waiting for the custom colours. The one thing missing that I was interested in was the custom cartridge. I'm doubtful that will be coming back given the change in lock design.
Yeah, I wanted to order a custom color, with the PA-cable, but they don't offer that on the new style yet either.
I also see there is still no variation of cage internal diameter for girthier wearers. And that "v" shape in the bottom of the base ring creates an inconsistent ball gap for slippage.
I was all excited... but I'm not seeing the improvement Isn't it exactly the same as the v4 but with a slightly bulkier less secure lock??
I totally agree, I think this may have been a bad year for the Holy Trainer. The upgrade is only the lock, with the downgrade of the custom colors being late, no option for a PA-cable, and basically a rip off of last years version. I think the old style lock was better, being hidden and out of sight. All though I am betting that they made this design change partly so that the lockee can see the lock that prevents his fun, at all times. I wish they would have added a drainage hole for people with a PA. I find that my nub cage doesn't drain well and is hard to get everything out of it.
How about its ability to hold the balls in place. I am exploring the use of a HT because the cheaper devices I have used in the past (both metal and plastic) have a tendency to slide off or my scrotum gets pinched. I am just looking for something I can wear long term and investigating my options.
It depends how close you are to their sizes. I spend nearly all my time in a HT nano. The tube is perfect for me. The 45mm ring feels great, super comfy, but very very occasionally my smaller ball (I call him Elvis) escapes. The 40mm is a bit too tight, I’ve been sanding out to 42-43mm. For long term wear you do need to take the HT off for cleaning. The longest I go is a week, typically every two or three days. The enclosed tube is really hard to clean with it on. Buy a cheap knock off first to experiment with.
Andy, if you're using the Nano with a 45mm ring, please give this cage a try, I went from the Nano/45 to this one with a 45 ring and it's absolute perfection: https://www.ebay.com/itm/293156642997
The key for the HTv5is one of those round ones - I can’t imagine that looking great on a necklace or an anklet. https://www.holytrainer.com/orgasm-denial/specification-chastity.asp One day I want to buy a beautiful key from https://chastity-shop.com/ and present it to my keyholder.
