How do you count the time? Or do you?

I use an app called ChastiKey. It allows you or a key holder to electronically play mental games with you, you can have a basic timer, but the cards make it so that you never actually know when you are going to be let out, great for self lockers, but key holder function is also good.

Each card picked, I pick every 24 hours, and depends on the colour of the card, depends what happens, red wait another 24 hours
Yellow either add or subtract additional cards, green is release, or the dreaded blue card could double the number of cards, which could double the lock up time.

What I do, when my kh allows me to pick a card, I then pick one, if I haven’t been allowed to pick one I have to wait from my kh to allow it. If I have annoyed my kh, then he may add additional cards and even a blue card if been really naughty, which means I never know when I’m getting out! I enjoy the suspense, but also know the longest lock ups etc.

 

No games for counting here. It’s Her Property she does with it what she wants. If and when it gets unlocked is completely in her hands, if I ask to be released than definitely I won’t be.

 

please it best not to keep counting. @Elephantdonkey cos if you does and then it dont happen you will feel horrible. Just try and forget and do other thingys.

 

I think there's no harm in counting time. Especially at first, when the time periods aren't long. It's kind of a rush when release time arrives, and your keyholder reminds you that she was annoyed with you a couple days ago, and that you need to try harder before she'll allow you any time out of the cage.

Eventually she will decide that the clock isn't the boss of her anymore, and she will ignore it unless she can use it to tease you. She owns the clock and the calendar. Once she realizes that she controls time, then you know that she also owns you.

 

There is no right or wrong way to do this, so if counting works for you, count. We've tried a number of different systems. My favorite is when I have a set release day once each month, but she has the right to cancel it whenever she wants. She tends to prefer the I'll unlock it when I want it school of thought, so that tends to be the default. I sort of keep track of when my last orgasm was once I lock up. When I'm locked for longer periods (more than a month) and I need to refresh my memory, I'll look back at my posts on CM.

 

I use the ATracker app, as inspired by Thumper over at DenyingThumper.

I try to count up, not down.

 

We don't count - neither time between lockups nor time between orgasms. Why should one if you don' t keep track up it beeing unlocked either ?

 

At first it was hours, and then days and weeks. Before long, it became months and then years. I'm currently pussy-free for over 28 months. Right now it's easier to use months. Check my ticker below for an exact number.

I count up not down because there aren’t preset times, she does what she wants. I do keep track of my records in my journal.

I use a simple web calendar to track lockups, orgasms (hers and mine), unlocked days, teasing and whatever else I can think of.

 

I generally don't stress over how long I'm locked, but do keep a journal about it. That helps me see if I'm making progress or when I've been weak. My goal is to think of wearing my cage as the default and not something unusual. I also am surprised, usually, at how long I go between orgasms. They become secondary almost to the process.

 

We dabbled with the idea of extending lock-ups as punishment, but we dropped it. We both like me being locked so it didn't seem like a punishment. Also we're not super organized about stuff. It sort of became a when were you supposed to get out again kind of thing. Maybe I'll revisit this with her with an app, she might like that. She's into apps.
