Has anyone purchased and tried the Holy Trainer nano?

I feel the same. Keen to hear experiences from others.

I just received my Nano on Friday. First tried it Saturday, had it on for roughly 10 hours when I noticed the connection between the cage and ring started to get loose. I took it off and noticed the base ring at the lock opened up a good 1/16 of an inch. Up until that point it was comfortable. Just glad I didn’t get pinched.
I did just Email Holy Trainer. Now just waiting for a response.

My experience with the Nano is the same as you describe, need it to be 30% smaller, especially the ring, and it would be perfect.

I got my nano several months ago, just in time for Valentines. It is my first non metal one. I posted several pictures of it with my photos. When I first tried it the gap between the ring and the tube was too large and I slipped out. I heated the ring in hot water and adjusted it closed. A fellow CM member had suggested it, and it worked well. The tube is very short, but works for me. I use a 45mm ring for my regular devices, but I might get a 40mm because the ring does seem a bit loser then my stainless 45mm ones. It is noticeably lighter and very comfortable, and I wore it for several weeks. You have to keep it washed or it will smell. I can't see myself wearing it long term for that reason. I'm going to wear it for when I travel, which is why my wife wanted me to get it.

 

I sent them photos, Holy Trainer is shipping me a replacement ring under warranty.

I didn’t have any issues, but I can see how it’s possible. I can’t imagine it would be to difficult to sneak out, but I didn’t try. I guess once the replacement ring is here and I can wear it longer I’ll find out

 

Thank you all for the discussion on this. I printed a tube that is approximately the length and shape of a nano this morning, and find it's just the perfect fit. I think that regardless of whether you've got a small or a nano, the likelihood of escape out the bottom is the same because the bottom part of the tube ends at the same point on both of them. To correct it, I think the only solution is for the bottom to come back further, which may require a bit bigger ring to maintain the gap. I'll be experimenting with this in the future for sure.

You are the second person who has suggested this. I have planned to post these specific 3D models to Thingiverse for anyone with an account to download and print themselves, or farm out to be printed. I had not given much thought to printing and delivering these myself as there seems to be a large market for HTv2 already.

 

holytrainer is releasing a new version this summer that will be tighter and take care of the gap issue. just got the email friday

 

Very interesting news. I have my Nano on now, and after the gap adjustment I can't escape.

 

Are you saying there is some sort of adjustment you've made?
