Has anyone found a solution to the top hinge on a steel device pinching skin? Also solving the chafing problem from the steel tube encasing the penis. Thank you all for any advice. I'm looking at being caged for long periods of time.
Mostly the solution is get a better chastity device! However, you can get silicone tubing and fit that over your base ring. The chafing... are you sure it's steel and not chrome?
Get a device with a solid ring instead of a hinge. You have a different method to get it on, slipping your balls through the ring one at a time before pushing your penis under and into the ring. The lack of a hinge makes an enormous difference.
I have a piece of silicone tubing covering the bottom hinge but wondering how that would work for the top hinge? I've been using water based lube, can you recommend a good silicone based one? Yes, I'm sure it's steel, at least it was advertised that way.
Thank you very much for that suggestion. Do you have any problems with the ring staying secure? Can you recommend one?
You mentioned a top hinge. I'm intrigued which device is this a top hinge is uncommon if not unusual its not something I've seen or heard of before. If you are chaffing in the tube and have been using baby oil, baby oil gel (my default lub) or some other lubricant you might want to check it is surgical grade stainless and not something with potential allegenes in it like nickel. When you ask about the ring staying secure would you explain more please. The usual questions are about keeping the penis secure in the tube.
Thank you for the reply! I don't know the name of the device but it has a top and bottom hinge. It's the top hinge that pinches. It was advertised as being made of surgical steel. I've been using a water based lube, never used baby oil. I'm just wondering if you can get a solid ring large enough to fit your balls through but still tight enough it won't slip forward putting too much pressure on the balls or maybe even slipping off with prolonged use?
As mentioned, slipping one ball, then the next, then the penis makes slipping off a non issue. Just have to get the right size. Most start with a 2 inch ring and find out they need a smaller one. Mine is 17/8 and fits perfectly, you just need to try.
Amazon sells steel devices, would have to know the dimensions before suggesting a specific one. In general the cage length should be the length of your penis at its smallest. Base ring should be able to put your finger under up to knuckle but that's it.
My first few devices all had a hinge on the bottom of the ring but not at the top. The top was the join where the padlock went. I wouldn't ever go back to using that design! I'm in a Holy Trainer. It's a love it or hate it device. It isn't even remotely secure, it needs the wearer to actually want to be chaste. It's the most comfortable device I've ever worn though and was the only reason we ended up living this lifestyle. I would recommend you are absolutely sure what ring size you need before buying one, they aren't cheap. You can buy new rings for them if you need.
How big are you flacid? I am 1 3/4 inch, and it was 1/4 inch long, was fine but there are smaller and bigger ones out there, just sent u the pic of the one I got.
Thank you for the suggestion. I was really hoping to find one that was nearly 100% secure (understanding none can completely make that claim) and still very comfortable to wear for long periods. Maybe that's an oxymoron though???? yes, I received the picture of yours, thank you! I can't measure me right now because I'm locked up in my old one!
I'm afraid unless you are pierced and have a device that utilizes that, pull outs are possible. You can make them uncomfortable, and make it so it can be detected, but those little squishy things can get in and out of anywhere...think octopus tentacle.
Does anyone have an opinion or thoughts on pros/cons of a stainless steel device have two guide pins flaking the padlock stem? Just wondering if that improves the stability/security of the device without negatively impacting the comfort factor?
The two pins flanking the middle lock seems to make it stable, no play or side to side movement. That is a good thing, I have had issues with post type cages wiggling sideways, the extra room was enough for a ball to pop through when I sat down awkwardly.
Thank Thank you, Jemima. I thought perhaps allowing the tube to have a slight bit of movement independent of the cock ring might be beneficial, but after reading yours and nicoftime, I'm thinking that's not such a good idea. Thank you, they're my Mistress' fav too!
Probably best to find an A-ring that squeezing your balls through individually feels a little bit tight. A LITTLE BIT ...unless you are prepared to cut the ring off if necessary. If its too tight you wont be needing it a gain but its probably hassle you don't need. Genarally though if the ring is large enough to squeeze one ball through it will almost undoubtedly accommodate your scrotum when both balls are through without too much discomfort. The A-ring does not have to come off for hygeine reasons and as one of my partners used to say; you can leave the A-ring on you'll be needing it again soon.
