What ever you feel most comfortable I guess, im sure there are many stereoscopic images in people minds as to what a Dominant person "should" be wearing, I guess some even wear nothing, its all about what works for you both as a couple

Dommes "should" wear whatever they like. I don't actually have a standard Domme uniform of any description and I very much doubt that I ever will.
Of course if you want to experiment with outfits that might get him all frothed up then it's probably best to ask him what floats his boat.

I think a standard Domina outfit for lifestyle FLR couples probably doesn't exist in the real world. My lady, who I obey, gets my attention in anything she wants to slip into: loose dresses, tight dresses, jeans, cut-offs, t-shirts, frumpy tops, see-through tops .. well, you get the picture. If he genuinely wants to serve you he'll do so whether you're in your bathrobe or your favourite dress and shoes. Watch and see!

He's probably aching to wash and care for your lingerie too.

My least favorite, which I'm sure floats her boat is the blind fold. I like visual stimulation, not seeing takes away from MY fun, but might add some for her. I've never complained but if she decided to never blindfold me again I would be ok with that lol

 

I find the Blindfold and the Gag to be such a powerful tool for something so simple in material value that is very hard to beat when you consider you dont even have to lay out any money. Every one has something already at home that can be utilised.

 

Excellent topic! I think clothes are so important in every aspect of life, they have a huge effect on how one is perceived. In particular, men are visual creatures and heavily influenced by how a woman is dressed.

Having said that, I don't wear any "fetish" or "domina" outfits. To each his own, but for me they seem like costumes for play, and seem to imply that my FLR relationship is a game or a show as opposed to everyday life.

Nevertheless, I am particular about how I dress and how my husband dresses, and it definitely has the effect of reinforcing the roles in our relationship.

For work I wear tailored skirt suits or pantsuits with spike heels, jewelry and accessories, conveying a powerful presence. This is how my husband sees me when I leave for work and return in the evening, and when I finally change out of my professional clothes I like to wear sleek, dark clothes that convey authority.

Every woman knows that heels not only make you much taller but also seem to intimidate men, and outside of work I usually wear stilettos or high heeled boots together with tight clothes that not only tease my husband but subtly convey my dominance. I don't think that dominatrix outfits are necessary to remind him that I am the boss.

Meanwhile I usually have him dress as a teenager, with shorts, t-shirts, sneakers etc. So our clothes are a reminder that I am the mature authority figure and that he is essentially my ward.

 

When I'm in the mood for teasing him I wear what I know drives him nuts. He has a think for women in a tight leotard, tights and high heels. I sometimes wear these around the house during our downtime and he follows me around like a puppy dog.

Sometimes when we need to go out I'll just add some bottoms (skirt, shorts or pants) and wear the leotard in public with him.

 

IMO being Dominant is wearing what she likes! It goes with the territory.
