I believe the expression is 'pics or G.T.F.O.'?

However, G.T.F.O. might be harder than you think!!

I do a zip tie, melted down to lessen scratches and holes in clothes, for those time I need to have the noises silenced I've thought about the rivet thing, but, like it has been mentioned, screamingly rotating power equipment down there doesn't do it for me.

However, the information, suggestions, and advice on this site is immeasurable. So glad I joined. :)

So I drilled the rivet out this morning, i'm guessing it was just aluminum and not steel. With a poorly charged drill gun it took longer than it should have, total time I think spent was 20 minutes but if the battery was charged it probably would've taken 5-6 minutes. Still a mood killer if the moment strikes. No photos, I was in a rush lol. sorry

Next time you'll need to try a steel one. I wonder if there would be a way to put a steel nail in there, instead, and peen the point of it with a hammer, sort of like how they used to hot rivet prisoners into shackles.

To see how difficult it is to drill out, why don't you rivet you device together while not wearing it. Then drill it out. You will then know how difficult it is to drill out without the worry of injuring yourself. Just my two cents, but I would go for the electrical ties myself. No drill bits by my sensitive bits.
