    I have chronic pelvic pain and need something to stop my groin from touching my underwear or even the device itself. I am thinking something bowl shaped might work best

    Hi
    Notice the ratchet base ring .

    This is definitely for short term S&M play . The ratchet will give no end of trauma after even an hour or two .

    I suggest wearing a stack of rings, for example any of the CB2000 like devices would work if several rings were worn.

    I dont see why the ratchet would be a problem for long term wear, the mech is on the top side and most off these mechanisms can be locked in position once the desired fit is accomplished. This is indicated by the part on the end of the key that activates the pin, sorry it doesnt answer the OP question !!

    Lol some one had one a while ago and the hinge was a real bitch and the rivets play havoc with the skin at the base of your bits.

    Also the ratchet can close more than is comfortable when you are least expecting it . As in middle of the night when you roll over in bed.

    So with the op mentioned medical issues I would suggest it's not a good idea.

    Exactly what I was trying to say is its impossible for it to close when you least expect as it has a locking mechanism to prevent this occuring

    The one you have might have that facility . However the ones available in the uk do not .
    You can close them thumb squeezing small !! Caused much mirth when we played with one in a favourite toy shop

    Any one that that has the part on the key that, that particular one clearly shows has the locking mechanism fitted to the cuff. Ive not seen a handcuff other than a plastic toy one that doesnt use this feature, it is still there and most are probably ignorant of the feature.

    Ok lads. I have chronic inflammation at the tip of my penis. If my penis slightly rubs fabric I am in a lot of pain. I do not work partly because of this. I need something comfortable where my short fat penis glans is not touching. Something cage like or round as the picture could work. I appreciate any advise. I need a product I can purchase.
