First time to select the device, need help

I started out with plastic came with a bunch of different rings easy to find out what size you are. Cleaning was hard . Went to steal with Mature Metal custom made for me much happier.

I can see the attraction of the CB-X range..... Modular set-up. Different size base rings....

But there is also more to chastity than that....

Tube length is a vital component as well.... And cleanliness...

Therein lies the CB-X's greatest flaws.... The solid tubes require a STRICT cleanliness regimen. But they can NOT be adjusted at all in terms of length.... If a CB-X tube is too long for you, you will find nightime erections REALLY uncomfortable, as the whole contraption will be pulled away from your body causing pain.

So you have a decision to make!!!!

My advice has always been go with something that can be adjusted, so a good fit can be found over time.... The metal cage you link to has exactly that feature.... The rings can be pushed together or prised apart as needed. And it is MUCH easier to keep clean (and therefore keep in situ for longer too!)

But as you correctly say... The base ring on that particular model cannot be adjusted...

So, if you DO go that way, getting a decent measurement is, of course, crucial.

The good news is you will be able to buy other sizes of base ring should you get it wrong....

ALSO bear in mind that no trapped ball device is inescapable. Not one. So if security is an issue, you will need to consider that.

Some devices utilise piercings, and these are MUCH more secure.... But can be removed with power tools if REALLY dedicated!!!!

So.... In summation:

Tube length and cleanliness are vital components of chastity wear. Generally, shorter is better.... so an off-the-shelf device like a CB-X or a solid tube is really a shot in the dark as far as correct tube length is concerned. Adjustable is better if the design permits. That way you can find an ideal fit over time and then go with a custom device if you want REAL comfort and wearability.

Read PansyTart's post thoroughly. It really is good!

As far as a first device I am among those who started with a knockoff CB unit. From this I was able to determine which size ring was needed. As @I LOVE my Choice! MyChoice stated the ring size is very important, another consideration is the length of the tube. If too long it will cause nigh time pains. The length of the tube should be about 1/2 inch or so shorter than your flaccid length. Good luck and welcome to CM. Another note is to recommend to stay away from silicone devices as they are not very secure. Unless you get a Birdlock unit that has a connection from the end of the tube to the ring.

 

well they all look nice ones. my one is a bit like the bottom ones and if it a bit too long still they can be alter cos Mistress has bashed my one and it gone smaller now.

 

I have tried a few, plastic and metal devices, and in the end could not find one i could not slip out off quite easily, i am a bit of a Houdini down there apparently because i am a grower, not a shower.

So the bullet was bitten, because i don't want to go down the full belt route for work etc (they are great for play and weekends), and i have a nice PA ring in at the moment, that is now healed up, and i am looking for a chastity device that uses the PA, and does not incorporate a locking ring at the base.

What suggestions would be best for someone like myself, who has played with the "normal" locking ring devices and found them lacking ?

 

I have devices like all of those. (A) has a solid ring a little more difficult to put on but worth it. (B) The pin is not part of the ring and will present some movement between the base ring and the cage. This for me has caused one of my nuts to slip past the base ring. (C) the split or hinged ring makes it easier to put the device on. You just need some silicone tubing to cover the hinged area. Some myself included recommend to use the tubing to cover 3/4 of the base ring. The small included tubing will cover the hinge but will cause irritation from the edge of the tubing, that is why the recommendation of using tubing to cover 3/4 of the ring.

 

At this point I like the solid ring the best. You will get smell under your scrotum. From metal up against skin in a space that does not get much air to help keep from moisture (sweat), thus smells. Another point is that all ball trap devices can be defeated (pull out). Chastity is more than wearing a device. It is more about orgasm control. You surrender your orgasm's to keyholder and get release when and if they say so!

@NightA I don't have piercing but understand that Lori devices are good for what you are looking for

 

@NightA , i have tried alot of devices with the pa. I cant recommend the tube jacket 02 from steelworxx enough. Very comfortable and great for long term wear.

 

I have popped them an email for fitting information , I like the securo that steelworxxs do. And it's in a price range I should be able to try without feeling like i lost too much if it doesn't work out .

 

I thin you will like that one @negiver it a bit like my one cept it not got the tube thingy but they very comfy to wear and don't hurt a lot.
