Quite a few experienced practioners the write advocate that initially your periods of denial ought to be double what you think you can do.

Some say your first should be 3 months minimum some a year.
So who knows but I always felt a little cheated in some way if each period of denial was not nearly the same length or longer than previous ones.

I'm only 5 days into this locked session but my wife never plans on letting me free ever again. I was only free 5 days ago because it was my 40th birthday but now its all over according to her. My answer was 2+ months at a time. We started with short periods, 1 to 2 days, then on to a few weeks and then we started on months. From beginning of playing to reaching the 3 month mark took us abput 4 years.

Now, we are planning on starting a 6 month run, previous long was about 5. Right now we are holding off starting another lockup until I secure a new job. We don't want to get into the start of a planned long lock when it may need to come off due to different outside influences.

 

I personally am not locked for any long amount of time. These days I do the keyholding, but for the right dominant, I do switch.

 

Well I'm used to counting in weeks however, I think my new keyholder wants me to get used to counting in months

My vote was counting "in weeks" and it relates to being physically locked 24/7 continuously with no access. As far as free from having full orgasms, that is counted in months because even when not locked (for physical problems or travel), I am expected to remain chaste and be orgasm free.

Since my kh/wife has taken control of my lockups, the time in my device seems to keep increasing. In the past year my time was around 2 weeks give or take a day. Today is day 30, this has occurred twice this year. So I do see more time in than not. I never know when my release will happen. As the saying goes..........

Being locked is to prevent me from playing with "willy". Lately when I'm released it is only under her supervision for cleaning and shaving.
