I don't think they ever stop, after a few weeks they get less intense and you get used to them and can sleep right through, but I've been doing this for a few years and still get them sometimes.

Since I got a shorter cage (cb6000s), I pretty much eliminated the nocturnal attempts at erection. I just kind of puff a little. My body must realize that it can't achieve its desired attempt at erection and it stops. So much better with a shorter cage.

I dont think they go away. With a proper fitting device you can manage them better. My first device woke me up a few times a night in agony. My latest device I am able sleep right throught them. A custom fit, properly sized for your flaccid member works wonders.
If you check out the picture on my profile, I don't think the cage is too big in the slightest. The thing is that basic anatomy means that the area will try to fill with blood for the nighttime erection and try to pull the cage from my body. The only time it "hurts" is when I forget to lube the ring the night before and it tugs on the skin some via friction. Otherwise it's not bad at all.
It's not so much an erection inside the cage as much as it is an erection behind the cage. The penis inside the cage gets hard and strains to get to fully erect although the cage restricts it from happening. I fill my cage when soft but it still tries to bust out when I am aroused. It still tries to erect,as I get awakened most nights! It also sometimes tries if I am thinking of something erotic. Everything still remains under control though!

i think it is a common problem with devices in a full belt you want notice erections or things like that ,in my belt i would not even notice if it happens !! i prefer it like that ,i had once a device and that put me off ...best reg. GWENY
