Hi my wife and I are new to chastity. I was wondering, after the device can be worn for a few days and all the issues are worked out, if there is a recommended initial lockup period. Thanks for any feed back.
There is a lot of stuff about initial lockups being 3 months or more but that's stupid to start with. Build up to it, a week, two weeks, a month, 6 weeks, etc. I've had a cage feel perfect for the first two weeks but inm the third week it has caused swelling and had to be removed. A couple of days caged is not an indicator of what a few months will be like. Take your time, be sensible, and enjoy the journey.
Congrats for having endured the few days sentence of adjusting in your new prison cell for the penis.. ok, now you can go for life sentence without parole. Nah.. leave it to her whims and fancies. The female mind is motherly compassionate yet deliciously devilish.. lets make chastity fun.
I have always said there is no sense in jumping into it too fast... Wearing it overnight might be tough, but there is no reason you can't wear it all the time throughout the day at this point... Just keep an eye out for skin issues.
We started with an hour and every other day doubled the time caged. I think it was 10 days and we tried overnight, a night out and then 2 in a row. At the end of the 3rd week we went for a full week and then a night out to play. Most times it was either 1 week 2 weeks before play time and then we did Locktober. Now we do that and the 40 nights of Lent each year.
I always like chastity being concocted with some spiritual significance.. it makes the sacrifice and frustration worthwhile while striving to achieve nirvana like status.. abstinence is mind discipline in resisting earthly temptations.. i am being as celibrate as a monk … but throw in pussy licking for a good measure… i am sold the chastity lifestyle..
We didn't do any gradual phase in. We ordered it, it arrived, it went on and stayed on 24/7 from day one.
Tried it in stages, finding and learning different ways to stand, sit, and general everyday movement that you wouldn't even consider as something that might cause discomfort. Initially started a few hours each day (weekend), locking after breakfast, unlocking after lunch and after a couple of weeks moving to the whole day and unlocking at bedtime, then locking for the week, going to work with keys in pocket. After this initial stage my GF became the key holder, moving onto one, then two months. This then stopped when we mutually split up and she moved away with her family, long distance wouldn't have worked with neither of us driving. Tried self locking for three months with keys kept in a locker at work, temptation and frustrating just is too much doing it that way, especially when seeing the key at the end of a busy and stressful day.
A few other points to add to my above post. When standing, and sitting getting over the anxiety of what it looks like to others. Also the planning around airport security, I'm sure it's something they have seen before, but going on holiday with friends and family, the flight may have a little awkward conversation, so there is lots of planning needed, the same with the possibility of needing to visit the hospital for a routine appointment, if my Dr requests an MRI scan - "please remove all metal objects"..."err, yeah, about that").
Do what suits you, and what feels right, but really it should be down to your wife how long your locked for!
