A KH Wife's response to Mistress Lucy

i glad that everbody being nice again.

 

Wendygirl - I guess what I just don't understand is why the expectation of politeness and understanding is a one way street with this particular member.

I have steadfastly avoided her threads since allowing myself to get pulled in the one time. But this isn't her thread. This is a thread started by a member, who UPON QUITTING CM felt compelled to address one specific member's contribution to that decision. Does that hold no meaning here?

I haven't caught up on this thread since I posted my response. But I know she now says that Lucy didn't drive her away. And that's good. But it doesn't change the fact that she felt her parting message should be a direct rebut to one member. Not a "thanks and goodbye" type message - a rebuttal of the one member who continuously is hurting the feelings of, or pissing off, everyone else.

Blame it on testosterone all you like. But the pattern, of confrontation and discord follows her, not me. Her peaceful interaction on this forum relies on everyone else's patience and ability to bite their tongues. She says what she wants, judges who she wants, and how, and bites the heads off anyone who can finally contain themselves no longer and speaks up.

I hold no I'll-will toward anyone. But how it is that one member, over and over, can be at the center of so much trouble, and yet someone such as yourself sees more fit to snip at an otherwise peacefully contributing member who finally speaks up, simply remains beyond me.

But Lucy you do single us out often, maybe not individually but as a group yes.

 

If I say half the people here are idiots and scoundrels you would be right to guess that many people would think that was a bit rude, even though they could easily decide that they themselves were in the half that were not idiots and scoundrels. It's not required to name anyone to piss off a lot of people.

Yes! Exactly. And your personality type is what determines whether by default you believe yourself to be among those insulted, or not. I clearly am the type who is going to think "this little shit is ragging on me again". And it all circles back to my greater point, that she is relying on the maturity, patience, and self-control of everyone else to refrain from thinking that way, all while denigrating individuals and or swaths of people.

Every so often you run into someone like myself, who for reasons oh his own, will be quicker than some others to jump when someone seems to be goading him on. Some people are like me. It is what it is. That's why the rest of us refrain from shitting on each other - you never know when the one you shit on is crazy enough to hurt you (speaking in real life terms here of course). Bottom line, if you say whatever you want about those around you, be prepared to hear their thoughts regarding you.

 

Don't worry, I'm slowly tracking down all the 'hordes' and 'minions' who are supportive of Mistress Lucy's adventures. Apparently there's somebody here called 'Franky Teardrop' (as if!) who has been putting in a kind word here and there. I have reliable information that he indulges in 'worship fests' of the most pathetic kind, promoting actual narcissistic behaviour wherever he finds it.

There's a Cat here somewhere who can sniff out these troublemakers in an instant.

I think we've been down this road before, it's a dead end.

I think the original post got her message across... don't speak for me. It was well received by most and largely ignored by it's intended recipient.

If anything it has gotten some keyholders out of their shell a bit, even if it was to vent a little.

Some folks you just can't reach, but glad it was able to run its course before big sister got involved.

True words, them. Gotta know yourself. Put into the right (or wrong) situation, I am a grade-A prick. But anyone who knows me in the flesh would tell you that I am a sweetheart and a giver.

Lucy and I are likely more alike than either of us would care at this moment to admit. But it's taken decade or so more of life to learn that. And being a man not a woman, does change things.

For instance, despite my sharp tongue and propensity to use it (all sorts of puns happening here today!), as a male I learned in my teens that when I blithely insult those around me the result for me WILL sometimes include one or more of the following things happening to me: chipped teeth, black eyes, broken noses, split lips, 2:00am calls to the bail bondsman, etc etc. That experience has taught me to not be the first to get aggressive.

Most females don't have to worry about that. As a result, a small few will feel free to walk around this planet as if they own it. Time tempers this attitude normally (where for dumb males like myself it's a combination of time and well deserved injuries). But thats where certain personality types seeking out d/s genuinely worries me. Finding a way to continue on with that attitude is not the right reason to seek out and engage in a d/s lifestyle.

You can disagree that this point should apply to you. But the point itself is, I believe, irrefutable.

 

General enquiry: What on earth is the fixation with Mistress Lucy's age all about? Is there some underlying point to it that escapes me? Apparently she's 23, what's it got to do with anything?

And yeah, I was thinking you and Mistress Lucy are peas in a pod!
