Greetings. I am in the process of adjusting my Neosteel Arch more and more to fit me. While I managed to find a setting for the tube to finally not cause Edema on the Penis (yay), I have another problem that I just can't seem to get rid off. When sitting down, the metal band going from hip band to tube (basically the top part of the crotch module) cuts into my chubby areas over the base of the penis. My gets between the tube and the band, and when sitting down, the band cuts into the skin. As you can see on my images, I am not a slim guy, but also not obese. Does anyone else have this issue? Any idea on what to do? I tried bending it away from body, but this is limited by the padlock....
Lovely replies there. Thank you so much. Anyone got something constructive to add? It's only an issue when sitting down, because then the hipband pushes down and the tube pushes up, squishing the skin inbetween.
A couple of options for short-term solution (losing weight is ofc the best long-term solution ;-). Use a band-aid (something like Compeed) right on top of the penis. This prevents the skin from wrinkling up and getting stuck between the tube and the shield. Bend the tube a bit more forward so that the pressure when sitting forces the penis deeper into the tube instead of over it. Fill the gap between the tube and the shield with something non-allergenic and moisture proof (can't think of anything suitable right now though - I use the band-aid trick when this starts to irritate me.)
Oh, and another thing - you could try tightening the crotch band a notch (use the lower holes). This lifts up the penis tube a bit and you will have less skin to get trapped.
My tummy is above my belt - and thanks for the opinion on my body - seriously, I haven't been on here in a while, but is calling people fat and insulting their body shape a thing now here? It surely wasn't 1-2 years ago, and definitely not from moderators. I am also not shaming people for being 60+ year old males dressing and acting like 12 year old girls.... Now back to the constructive part of this thread: This is actually quite good advice and I tried it, it helps a bit. A guy on Fetlife had the idea of checking the crotch band overall length by sitting down with the crotch band unlocked and seeing if it fits over the pins, it does not in my case. Actually, it looks like the metal part from the tube to the waist band is too short, which it compresses the skin... I have now tried two things - using the lower holes to bring the tube up a bit and changing the angle of the tube (counter-intuitive, bend it closer to body, so the skin has more room to go over the tube). Will have to see if it works once the chaffing/sores from last time is gone.
You look to be overweight to me. That's not an insult, it's a statement of fact. It's up to you if you wish to live in denial of that but you can't force me to. And by the way, not one single moderator has posted in this thread.
Amanda, there really is no need to vent your spleen in such a patronising way for everyone to see on somebody else's thread. CM is supposed to be inclusive, your first post was bad enough, to post again to announce that you shall state what you think without consideration of others shows you as very callous.
I also have a Neosteel Arch and a belly with a Southern Hemisphere (thankfully it's not to flabby), but I didn't have problems below the hip belt. Are you shure it's the belt, that makes you uncomfortable? I figured, that different underpants also determine how wearable the belt is. In the beginning I had some problems above, because the skin was to sensitive. Now I'm almost there to wear it permanently. Good luck to you!
Ok - can I call this thread to order? Lets have no more backchat. If you have nothing useful to say about full-belts and their fit for those with fuller-figures, then please say nothing. In particular no more scoring off each other from the usual suspects. You know who you are and you know what I'm talking about. Just leave it. The forum is better that way - and you are (we are) all better if you drop it now. We don't need to care who started it - but you're all going to stop it. Now - with apologies to the OP and useful contributors - back to fullbelts, or nothing.
It's definitely just in the area where the band from the Arch is - I even got sore there. By now, I get the feeling that it is caused by the part between lock and tube being too short...
hey @whizz, thanks for posting your question. I have a neosteel arch that I've been slowly tweaking to deal with the same issues (and rear cable was too short grrr!). I think we have similar body sizes. I've definitely noticed the fatty pad around my pubic area split and squish out around the center bar of the arch above the tube, but only when I am seated leaning forward. That's probably the most uncomfortable position. I think I made things a little more comfortable by adding an outward bend to the bar above the tube, so it is about 0.5-1.0" farther away (this also makes the rear wire a little tighter / lifts the bottom of the tube, where the cap is, up into my perenium a little bit). I stuck the first 1.5" of locking area of the front plate into a vice, sandwiched between to wooden boards, so the tube and rear wire were sticking out of the top of the vice, then slowly bent the bar out, and reversed that bend 3-4" down where it joined the tube. Hope that helps!
Incidentally, on the topic of obesity... guess how much I weigh, and how close I am to being obese...
Trying to make some progress. https://www.chastitymansion.com/forums/index.php?gallery/photos/modifying-the-tube.18463/ I added some shapelock to prevent the skin/fat from bulging over the tube and then being dug into by the band. So far...wow. The device is so much more comfortable now, and it even helped against edema it seems....still need to do some adjusting, but this seems to be the way forward.
Shapelock was a brilliant idea! I added some shapelock to my cage last weekend and I'm not seeing any edema problems after a week. It's a lot more comfortable, and because I filled a couple of nooks and crannies as well, a lot easier to keep clean now. Thanks a lot!
