Single and self locked how can I keep motivated?

I was self locking during my college years. Hormones were raging and i could masturbate daily.. sometimes 3x/day… my mind was totally distracted even during the era of netscape when dialed up was only at 52kb/sec.. ok i was addicted to internet porn in all its infancy. But i needed to look at books and complete my studies.. so a chastity device would come on handy. I wore it everywhere..to the library, to lecture halls and to the gym..and overnight. The key was just stashed away in the cupboard. The mind just had to be distracted. My room-mate could not understand it. Not much motivation or reward.. but a day without masturbation was a day of victory.. that was how i tallied up the abstinence.

 

I guess you need to evaluate your goals & why you are doing this. If your goals are that important to accomplish through this, that should be good enough. It might not be though & that's ok.

 

One do the PA you will love it. When it gets to its hardest point where you feel like your balls will explode find a hobby it will help. Just keep locked if that is what you want

 

To quote a common phrase "just do it!'

Set a goal, say 3 days locked, and then DO IT without cheating. Get a kitchen timer safe if you have to. Then go a little longer, then a little longer. Eventually you find yourself wanting to stay locked and denied and will feel a failure if you orgasm... it's reprogramming. There is no magic bullet, just will power.

During those tougher times get busy doing something, anything else that is distracting, like yard work, a walk in the park, something public where you can't cheat. Maybe that would help

 

good advice as is this:

get in the right mind set and maybe mail your key to your self, recorded delivery obviously! If it works have a envelope ready labeled and waiting to go, next time you feel the urge, pop in your key, and take a walk to the post office and do it again. At least this way you are guaranteed you cannot get your key.
