For the past several years I’ve used a paracord waistband with an adjustable knot. This ‘slip-and-grip’ knot holds firm when the ends are pulled, but is easily slid to adjust the length when the knot is grabbed. The attached photo illustrates the knot construction. I’ve found that pulling the waistband tightly against the body is perfect for sleep (or fun with my KH), but that ‘high and tight’ position causes issues when wearing trousers or trying to use the toilet. A middle position is perfect for under trousers, and the loosest position is reserved for using the bathroom. Hopefully this will be useful for some of you that prefer waistbands.
