Getting a hardware-store screw and driver kind of defeats the purpose of "difficult to remove" unless there's a seal or something that has to be cut. (Looks like this is true of the BAW "headless screw", too; needs something more than an allen wrench but less than the un-removable e-clip.)

The Bryce stuff looks really nice. I won't inquire about the cost although it could be a sideline for someone to buy a set of the screws/drivers and sell individually.

In the US, you can get stainless M3x0.5mm pan-head screws from McMaster that use a 2-post head & driver, not a controlled-availability head but not something in most stores.

So I received my BAWR cage with the same 3 pin screw. I promptly ruined the tool but I was sent 3 tools along with the note explaining their fragility. The 2 remaining tools are in our safety deposit box and we understand the situation. For us, it adds a fun element of complexity.

My device arrived about a month ago. I questioned the durability of the screw and driver and was told they have been improved and go ahead and tighten it. Due to a few unexpected issues, it has been put on and removed three times with no issues. The screws require some pretty good tightening to go in all the way. It did come with two drivers.

They now have tool steel driver. Before was a laser sintered alloy. Shit was super weak but he was just getting first started. Maybe he got some good advise or he was figured maybes it needs help..

I was planning to make a separate post on this sometime but since it's come up here... I actually had a sample batch (minimum order size was 10 I recall) of stainless steel shear screws manufactured from a company in China at the exact requirements for my BA-28 device: M3 at 12mm.

It fits perfectly on testing, although my wife and I did not take the plunge and actually shear it off yet, but will keep you posted ... x_x

What’s your escape plan in a medical emergency? Is there a weak spot on the cage or ring where medical professionals can get you out quickly? Just curious as my screen name implies. Looking to learn.

Thanks for enquiring. The various aspects of permanent chastity are discussed in great length in other threads on this forum so I wish to be mindful not to derail this one. For now I prefer to just reiterate that we have not sheared the screw and of course questions like the ones you asked are factors to our consideration.

Nonetheless sheared or un-sheared, the screw forms a threatening and exciting facet to our play.

MaleChastityNow has offered Bryce Fastener Key-Rex screws custom-made with a unique keyway, unavailable to anyone else. Mark has had them available since 2020. These are the highest quality driver bit and screw I have ever encountered. Ordering these KeyRex fasteners directly from Bryce as a retail customer is not possible.

Lori had used Bryce as well. She used a smaller screw, which felt prone to stripping. My wife was always nervous with the smaller Lori screw.

Mark uses a larger screw, which always mates with a solid feel. And Bryce’s center pin size prevents any other driver to get a purchase.

I have the BawrPro triple-snake-eye screw. I prefer the larger screw in Mark’s design over the smaller Lori or BawrPro for both security and safety.

You don’t need to get the StripLok screw. Though if you get a MaleChastityNow cage, your keyholder can always dangle that threat over your head!!! :) I feel Lori’s 90s-00a use of break off screws for her tubes was more of a threat than a practical solution.

No. They are much different sizes.

BAWR is metric and much smaller. I think it’s an M3 x 0.5 pitch, or M2.5… close to #4-40.

    MaleChastityNow uses an #8-32 (close to M4 x 0.7).

The 8-32 is a very sturdy fastener. The driver keyed bit engages the keyway and stays on the tip.

Im not a fan of the BAW 3 hole screw plus you can get hold of a bit for it by ordering his tetherspout direct or from etsy, I think the burg lock is the best of his options for me, I have 2 proper burg locks and 1 of the BAW burg clones and none of the keys work in the other locks. Plus you can use a tamper wire seal with them if required.

Most of the world use the metric system, take the screw to your local hardware store, they generally have a screw chart that will tell you the size and pitch of the screw. ie: 6-1.0

Yep. Some have a screw thread gauge like the one in the image I posted above which provides Metric and SAE sizes

    Here’s another (2 USD)

You mean I can get out of this device by ordering a tether-spout? It would be cheating though, but I’m having a rough time being locked up and won’t be getting out for a long time.

That’s why my wife wants this option (how is the device btw):-

If you need further security for your device, want one kind of unique screw and wrench that not sold here in public, this demand can be fulfill. The price would be 100USD for this screw and matched wrench. Please contact us for this demand.

I honestly didn’t think it would be that easy. Plus I already have a lot of money invested in the device, but I may need to consider investing a little more.
Btw: I will be doing a post on my review thread of my device.
