I had a PA done about 3 months ago at 10ga and have just stretched up to 8ga. I need to stretch up to 6ga to wear the ringless Lori I bought, which I will try to do in 2 weeks (I read that you need to wait at least 2 weeks).

I have just had the device resized so that it's snug (i.e. supported less by the piercing itself). I did not realise they were so heavy though. How long should I wait after stretching up to 6ga to wear it, to minimise issues to due the weight of the device? Is another 2 weeks enough?

IMO, minimum two weeks is probably a good policy to use. It may also depend on how well the PA has healed after the stress of stretching. Make sure the hole margins are not irritated and the entire area has a uniform color with no soreness. Lori devices require very well healed PAs

Lori told me 120 days minimum before using a device. I was pierced in January at 8ga, stretched to 6ga in March and that went OK. Have not yet tried to stretch to 4ga and think that will take a while. It is a big step.

So do I have to wait 6 months after stretching? That would be a bummer.

I'll have to go back to my old posts to confirm the timeline, but I think it was about 3 months before I stretched to 6ga. And then I think I waited about 6 weeks before I started wearing the Lori. I was pierced at 8ga so I don't know if the wait time might change if you're going from 10 to 8 to 6.

Give it say 3-4 weeks remember it's a high blood flow area so heals fast . The slight irritation of the bigger ring will help to build scar tissue , so long as it's not sore .

Then have a go with the device and see how it feels . For the first few weeks any pain , take it out and give the piercing a rest . Don't try and get all macho and try and tough it out listen to your body.

    Good luck . Xx Wendy

So I was pierced at 8ga last year on 10/3 and stretched to 6ga on 12/31. So pretty much three months.
Then I first started wearing the Evotion on 1/23 (which I only got as a sizing test before giving Ms. Lori the final measurements) So that's only three weeks of a wait time.
Two weeks later, I was wearing the Lori. That was 2/8. I've had it on just about 24/7 since then.

It has taken me longer. 7 months and I still don't find the evotion comfortable. Thought it might be the rough texture on the pin so I sanded and polished. Still can't tell.

Lori device is on order. She convinced me to size up to 4ga. That will take a little while yet.
