Hi, Another newbie to the site here. I've had an interest in chastity for a few years now but struggled to find a device which fits/works for me. Holy Trainers worked well as did 'Rikers' but plastic (and its smell...) doesn't quite work for me. The Bon4M was better - if only the heaviness didn't lead to bruising... If I could spare the cash I might give the new-ish micro one a go. My wife doesn't mind the kink but is a little concerned about the risk to my 'boys' as they like to Houdini themselves out of things. A recent foray has however reignited her interest and she has been asking/checking to see what I'm wearing. Unfortunately what I have now is cheap tat off the internet - and not only does it not stay on well. It feels like it could cause damage on the way off. Which for the 'Mrs' is a real no no. Enter the Cellmate which seems to have the benefits of the Holy Trainer/Riker devices and Bon4M with less of the problems. Its my birthday in a couple of months and one of them is winging its way to my door now. The question is do I keep it boxed up to December or go for Locktober, then November and then a little longer to give her something to unwrap in December and not me. That would however be pretty much a 10 week lock up. No doubt short to some here but lonģggggg for me. I've also heard about the other risks with the Cellmate and (especially) its electrics. I like baths but I'm not sure I trust the waterproofing even though I've made sure(!?) to order the most recent model. House of Denial (not where I bought from) claim the water issues have now been resolved but I don't fancy having to make a tech support call regarding my penis. On the other hand is showering really that different to a bath? Do I have to ignore the lock down button and get my partner to unlock me everytime I wash down there, or take a risk and hope the makers are good at sending out a replacement model if it breaks and becomes expensive and permanent body jewellery? All this seems to remind me somewhat of the film Gremlins: 'Don't get them wet; Don't feed them after midnight'. This is why I'm here, prior to the device even being posted through the door. This device is probably our last best hope of finding something which works and fits our relationship needs. But for us, at least, its an investment you don't want to fork out that much just to watch it break in days. To be honest the thought of this device actually working and leading to long term lock up is little scary. But not as much as the glint in my wife's eye recently when she's thought I might be locked. Nice to meet you all. I hope to hit the boards soon and find some answers to my questions!

Welcome. It sounds like you have a good start going. I’d say to go for Locktober and give her the gift of pleasuring her, but nothing for you.
Thanks @ConSUBmation - been thinking about this and wondering if I've already bitten off more than I can chew There is so much work/stuff that needs doing round the house at the moment that submitting to Locktober will come with a lot of work attached. It would however be great to see her smile at the end of it when it all gets sorted and she's had the bonus of plenty of massages etc!
