I find myself obsessively checking my signature to see how long I have been locked. I'm not allowed to check off a calendar, or to keep a record other than my profile signature. Now I seem to be checking it every day. I don't know when I'm going to have a release, so why should it matter so much? I'm starting to think I have a kind of chastity OCD. Does anybody else obsess over this, or am I crazy? Wait, make that crazier.
I have always considered it kinder to not set a release date. Setting one always makes subs look to the calendar and then one feels obliged to grant it.
