No rubber on belt except the wire cable covering which is a hard plastisol or hard silicone covering.. I am very sensitive to neoprene rubber and get a rash from it. The whole front has steel edging around front cage and lock assembly and the entire hip strap is the thick stainless steel. Its all highly polished and fits Excellent! I had to spend a little time tweaking some angles of the hip band but nothing major. Very comfortable, I already spent 36 hours straight in it the 1 trial and had no issues at all. The only reason I was released was because of work schedule and I need to pass through many metal detectors certain days in work routine. My wife was very pleased and assured me that this one will be permanent (less my 4 day work week however each evening I will belted and even on my telework days. So much better than my Access Denied belt (wished we bought this one years ago!!!)

I had never known about this built in lock until you mentioned it. Please describe and could you post some picks of it please?

    okay that is unfortunate.
but it's beautiful that way too!
and as long as it wears well and fits comfortably. then it will be alright

There is the main lock cover plate that locks over main lock . Then with the little brass lock or you can put a wire seal or a digital time lock in place to deter you even from using the main lock key. Sort of like double security and a foolproof while also an honor system that your keyholder or yourself has not even attempted to access main lock.

Hi. I see yes. looks nice and solid.
but my opinion is that chastity is also a matter of trust. In essence, every belt or cage can be removed.
but the eye also wants something :)
    I have had 2 myself.
but with rubber on the hip strap. because otherwise it is painful. also all steel.

The thickness of this "super steel" as they call it turns out to be very comfortable. The contour and smooth edges actually feel quite comfortable and no issues with any rubber failing or holding sweat. I can see how the thinner gauge waistband could be cutting into the skin. I have worn an Access Denied flourentine style belt for years that had a silicone liner glued on the belt edges and actually this new 2.0 feels sooooo much better believe it or not.

I e-mailed Walter in December how to order a allen wrench for the front plate, the spikes, and the P.A. thingy ( as Walter calls it) . He e-mailed me back stating he could not find me in his register, ask if it was second hand I told him it was! Have never heard anything from him since go figure . But thanks to other Carrara Belt wearers I figured out the Allen wrench size
