Sou Como Um Livro.... Há quem não me entende e quem nunca tentou me entender. Há quem sempre quis ler-me.
@CorsetJane so not only look kin fantastic in heels now some kind of smart ass ok sexy bum as well!! What the fxxk did all that mean ?? Xx Wendy
Haha! Thought it needed an equivalent reply out of respect! lol Work it out!...suspect the grammar's wrong anyway! cj
Yes but its in foreigner's words and thus to me unintelligible . I am not posh like you going to different countries. Xx wendy
As most people in here communicate in English, it seems strange to write in a foreign tongue unless you are incapable of writing in English. What next, ancient Greek, Latin, Esperanto.
and why not? some of us are quite able to speak more than one language, personally I love Afrikaans although I do not speak it. Nkosi sikelel' Afrika Maluphakanyisw' uphondo lwayo, Yizwa imithandazo yethu, Nkosi sikelela, thina lusapho lwayo. Uit die blou van onse hemel, Uit die diepte van ons see, Oor ons ewige gebergtes, Waar die kranse antwoord gee, Sounds the call to come together, And united we shall stand, Let us live and strive for freedom, In South Africa our land. The South African National Anthem uses 5 different languages, all spoken in South Africa. It always gives me goose pimples when I listen to it.
You forget to mention Danish on the no go list... Lol! - I can post a poem in Danish , and You will for sure feel that you have neglected to ban more languages...Lol! (Please stop me!)
I am not seeking to ban any language . However most people on CM English is their first and probably only language. Thus to get your point across and not waste your time typing up posts in other languages English is probably best. After all this is about communication so to defeat that objective seems pointless. However if you wish carry on and have a readership of 2 lol Xx wendy
Merci beaucoup Wendy.
Mas que bonita mensagem Jane, je sais parler Francais aussi (all my own work, no Google translate used during the writing of this message...)
this is deep! A cocktail of Portuguese and French... Someone being lightheaded too this morning? Lol!
People conversing in languages other than the 5 dialects of the Anglophonic alliance should make their titles match the text. Then the monolinguals can can choose to remain so.
