I've been lurking a lot on this site before deciding to become more active when I started locking again. A little background. My current girlfriend is new to chastity (and BDSM) and I have been slowly introducing her and trying my best to hold back all the fantasies and ideas I have (of which there are many..) as it was understandably somewhat overwhelming for her in the beginning, but we have had many long talk about this topic. My longest lock was 2 weeks straight with an online keyholder via ChastiKey app. In all the years I have known about chastity I have only been locked for a total of about 5 weeks on and off.. Currently I'm locked in a CB-6000 as I find it the most comfortable to wear during the day (I have never found HTv3 comfortable). However a new metal cage has been ordered which I hope will fit and be comfortable. I decided to get a small tube since I'm a grower (the CB-6000 is too long) and two rings in different sizes. Wearing any chastity device during the night has always been difficult for me. From what I gather on the internet this is mostly caused by nocturnal erections which causes great discomfort under my scrotum. I have tried moisturizer creams without any luck. So my current "regime" is to sleep unlocked. What are your experiences with having the cage on during sleep and is this just a case of "you will get used to it when you wear a cage"? Do you sleep with your cage or do you only lock during the day?
I don't really get the scrotal discomfort anymore. I suppose that's either been stressed out or toughened up the longer I've been caged. I do get woken up by erections though. What I do is go to the bathroom and try to take a dick pic. I know it sounds dumb, but the little thing is camera shy and taking a dick pic kills my erection, caged or otherwise.
For me: 1) I avoid drinking too much in the evening. 2) I make sure my bladder is empty before going to sleep 3) on first wake up I massage some skin though the base ring from my scrotum to relieve any tension. If bad, I skip to no.4 4) I go to the loo and empty my bladder again 7 weeks tomorrow of continuous locked
Thank you for your reply. Step 3 and 4 is what I would normally do if the pain under my scrotum was bearable.
I use amoline cream (nappy rash cream) on my ball bag, it lasts all day...I put it all over the sack and it helps keep the skin loose soft and can move under the ring. Unfortunately the nocturnal erections never really go away, but you do get used to it. During extended play I sometimes take a very small dose of cyproterone acetate and that will eliminate night time erections completely, with no real side effects although it can make getting an erection take a bit longer, a blue pill takes care of that issue. Now I am reaching my mid fifties, it is getting easier.
Get a cage smaller than your flaccid length that will help and stay locked through the nite you package will adapt and become used to the situation itnis in
Another vote for a smaller cage here. I’ve also found that as I moved to a cage size that better matched my actual flaccid length, the less of the early morning burning I got. Also, a bit of Vaseline on the ring before bed helps.
Like you when we started this journey many years ago, it was with bdsm and I was the dom and she the sub. Over time we started to switch and by chance were in a store in nyc looking at bdsm gear when the sales girl showed us a Leather and metal cage and the rest is history. our first cage was plastic and it worked for our goals at the time. We have two models we alternate between, a cheap knockoff that is the most comfortable and the Bon4M small and micro for additional experiments. the key is sizing, the penis should be measured in the flaccid state and the cage to fit this measurement. Many people size the cage for when they are aroused and not completely rigid, a key mistake. That seems to lead to more chaffing and other issues and a key thing is to keep some lubrication (all depends on the person) applied after showering. also start slowly increasing confinement periods over a 2 week period before going to a long term lockup. Start with 2 hour period and double the duration every other day for the first week and then overnight the second. Then a 3 day lockup, followed by a week and from there it’s up to you and your key holder. dealing with nighttime erection is part of chastity but they can be naturally managed. When they are real bad, I just get up and go to the bathroom. At my age I need sildenafil to maintain a hard erection for sex, but still struggle with confinement with nighttime and arousal erections. Like I said before, my wife likes the visual look of the cage and metal gives something plastic done not, the skin pushing out from the bars when she teases me. If it’s a PIV night, my wife will feed me a pill 60 minutes before she wants to uncared me to get the best effect.
