In anticipation of moving into my new house in a few months, and converting half of the basement into a dungeon/playroom a question came to me.

What are the best sites for buying bondage furniture and equipment to furnish my new play room?

A few things I want are:

A lucifer chair (like the one @DumBoundJock365 on Twitter has).

    A spanking/fucking bench.

    A St Andrews cross.

    A milking machine.

    A fucking machine.

    Paddles.

    Restraints.

    A stockade.

I also wonder if some of the items on the list I could not DIY them myself for cheaper than I could buy them. I do not have a ton of experience in building things, and I do not have a ton of tools, but still I have someone I could borrow tools from if I needed one I do not already have.

So yeah, looking for recommendations and advice.

    Thanks!

Best thing to do is watch YouTube videos on how to DIY. I built a full size jail cell, spanking bench and various other devices for a 10th of the cost to buy it on line. Be adventurous and test your skills.

If you start down the road of learning how to make them yourself, then you'll be in a much better place to be able to tweak the design or fix things when they break... Imagine being able to tune your furniture to better match your style of play without having to have people in and disrupt your life while they still don't get the idea of what you're trying to do.

If you go the DYI route, make a mock up of what you envision out of corrugated cardboard. Disassemble the mock-up and use the cardboard pieces as templates to reduce waste. Don’t forget to post pictures of your creations.

If you don’t want to make your own then make friends in the local community. I love making things and have made furniture for friends. I also love helping others learn. So find someone like me and you’ll learn and make a friend.

That said making stuff is fun so don’t discount it. You can start with easy projects and work up to much more advanced ones. Paddles are easy to make. A St Andrew’s Cross can be simple or fancy. Mine started basic and I’m adding padding and making it match my spanking bench.

So just take your dime and make it fun.

I have a close GF who has a bdsm "playroom" set up in an unfinished area of her basement. It is underneath her garage and has bare concrete walls and floor, no windows, and a heavy steel door leading to it. Several of us often visit her there and put our subs to work in her "playroom".

Almost all of her bdsm furniture and implements are homemade, with many eyebolts installed in the ceiling beams, walls and floor. Not fancy, but they do the job very well. She says most of the ideas and plans came from looking around online. Her sub has decent carpentry skills and she made him build all of it himself. I think it is so cool for a sub to be ordered to build bdsm furniture and equip a playroom while knowing that he will have to experience it himself ! :D
