i was wandering if anyone as ever had a problem with hygiene when locked up. I mean it can get a little warm down there. So what is the best way to wear a chastity device long term but still have good hygiene? Because that is the last place you want to be an infection.
First off are you in metal or something like a cb6k or Holy Trainer? Metal is generally fine with a regular shower. I wear my Htv2 for a few weeks at a time with no issues. Drink plenty of water to keep your pee dilute and shower daily. Use either a soapy swab in the tube or put your shower rose on jet wash and squirt water down your tube. To be honest the only reason my cage is taken off at all is it is opaque and we cannot see my penis. My Wife insists on checking to make sure I am ok. So far every time I have taken it off since starting the regime I just described I could have left it on.
I have the A163 plastic model like the cb6000 but I don't think it's as rigged as the cb6k, it's plastic is a little more pliable. Ok thx was just wandering. This is all new to me so I am still learning.
I would recommend that you take it off after a day or so then to test how it goes, then stretch it to a few days and so on. Find out what works for you.
We have the HT v2 as well and I find that it does get a bit more "gross" in my opinion than other devices. I will get on my boy to be more vigilant with the swabbing, Thanks Jasmic68!
I am now up to the end of day 13 in mine. Still no smell or gunky nastiness. It looks like I will be wearing it for at least three more days as I am away from home and my Wife won't be able to use me for anything other than the occasional surreptitious tease. I could be in it for up to another week. My previous longest was 9 days and everything was fine when I was released that time. The HTv2 can get pretty horrid but my daily regime of drinking copious amounts of water is helping not only my weight loss but also the smell.
When I had my HT2 I was very thorough and diligent with cleaning it in the shower in the morning and then swab out before bed. My mistress hated it because by the end of the day no matter what it seemed like there was always a funk which killed our intimacy because obviously if it's a little ripe down there in kinda takes the fun away lol. I ended up switching to a stainless device and have had no problems since. I really think it has to do with body chemistry and the reaction to the plastic your skin might have. I think stainless devices are in general going to be more hygenic in the end anyway.
I personally remove the device for every shower! I also shave at every shower. During the summer months this is absolutely necessary! I do this unsupervised, but do not play with myself, as I wanted to be kept chastised. I also wear the cb6ks and after a few days it can get pretty raunchy down there.
i has a metal one as well and they lots more easy to keep clean than the plastciy ones. and they don't smell nasty.
I a foam sponge swab and liquid soap while the daily shower -- take less then a 30 sec to be clean - I wear holy trainer 2
This is a huge issue for me and one of the main reasons I wanted (and just purchased) the Queen's Keep from Mature Metal. Hygiene is so important and yet really difficult with any of the plastic devices. I got soapy water stuck in my CB6000s last week and I was about dying. It was very very painful as the caustic soap was actually burning my skin. I got a nice little welt out of the ordeal. It's since gone down but man o man if you use soap when you clean your enclosed device make damn sure it's washed out thoroughly straight after, if not you may be in for some unplanned for punishment. I now wash my hair so that the soap doesn't run down my front but instead only down my back. So yeah, yikes. I have heard that the open design of the stainless devices means that cleaning is a lot less of an issue, also I'd love to be able to pee standing up, which with the more open design might once again be possible.
