I don't understand in the slightest the desire to submit to someone you don't have an actual relationship with.

 

I completely understand that feeling. However, we are all in different stages of our chastity development and we all have different goals and comfort levels. Some would like to experiment, others are still learning what they need, and a few are truly ready for real life chastity relationships.

Whenever possible, I agree that building the relationship and communication first seems to have the best long term results. It is also the route that requires the most openness about your own desires and insecurities. It took me a while to learn to embrace such vulnerability.

Fantastic idea to be locked up during lockdown. Please look around this site for advice on picking a keyholder. My initial advice is get to know the potential Keyholder/Domme before handing over control. Otherwise, there are applications and websites dedicated to being an automated Keyholder. The experience can me more intense that you are prepared for if you have not done that before.

 

Yes, not everyone is so lucky to have a potential KH in their life already. Many wives aren't interested, or you're single without a serious partner. so having someone else help you fill that role, can be an exciting alternative. That's one of the things I've seen in chastity lifestyle, so far, is that there are lots of options that work, depending on the individuals.

 

I agree. I've had some very good remote keyholding experiences in the past. I've also had empty/pointless ones so it really comes down to the connection and dynamic that can be built over distance. Definitely need to get to know one another before locking, otherwise it is unlikely to last or be worthwhile for either party.

I'm definitely taking the lockdown period literally at the moment, despite the lack of a kh! I consider it practise hehe

 

I'd argue this is also the perfect time for couples who are bored at home to give chastity a try.
