I started off using the metal Master Lock that comes with the CB6000. It was both heavy and needed to be held down by a rubber band to stop clanking away which was a problem when someone stopped by the house. I also have started to wear my CB for longer periods of time. I find that the weight of the metal lock makes the top of my penis sore where the weight is. I bought some cheap plastic locks with serial numbers from Kept for Her. Much better. No weight on my penis and it does not make any noise plus is more concealable. Also no key to worry about. My wife just jots down the latest serial number on the lock I am wearing and when I use a new one she records that. Supposedly, the lock will break if twisted hard but any pair of scissors or small knife will cut it easily. I would think that they are perfect for internet Keyholders as the sub can provide a picture of the lock on his device with the current newspaper to email to them. No keys to mess with. Quite frankly, if I wanted to I could pull my penis out of the CB because at my age it almost disappears inside of my body. However, since chastity was my idea I would only be cheating myself. My wife prefers combination number lock. She is not bothered whether it's light or heavy. She says, 'you deserve to bear the weight'.
I prefer the metal lock because of the clicking and don't try to mask it by anything but the underwear I choose. I like the potential humiliation if someone ever asks me why I'm clicking or just knowing the might know
We use a combination of both, completely at the will of Mistress. Predominantly Mistress prefers the metal lock not really for security but for the look. We use a "key safe" that is secured by plastic locks.
