When I wear mine long-term, I often use a wash after peeing and then dab dry. It helps keep it cleaner but is more work. Personally, my micro cage is my favorite, as it suits my small thing.

We discussed the cleaning issue and the basic problem is she doesn't want me to have access to a key at all. She's gone by the time I shower most days, so she'd have to leave it with me. I asked her if it was acceptable to pull out the back for cleaning. I can do this when completely flaccid with a lot of soap. She agreed this was the best way to go and approved. This will allow me to wear the micro-cage for extended periods. I know some people will be shocked over the idea of pulling out of a cage. "How can it be chastity if you can escape". If you pulled out whilst flacid, then an orgy sounds easy. They are just pieces of jewelry to me. Full belts make it harder to do this, but I will never wear one due to personal preference and other issues.
I wear a micro cage also. I found that I can pull my scrotum down far enough while . showering in the morning to wash everything pretty well. I dry it as best as I can, and then air dry for awhile before getting dressed. After I use the toilet, I use toilet paper to dry, and clean, the best I can. I am allowed to remove the cage for total cleaning abut twice a week.
