I've been discovering odd tears in my previously reliable (and expensive and comfortable) cotton boxers. Mystery solved. Early this morning I went on a 4 mile run wearing my Jailbird device, and when I went to shower I found that the lock on the top of the device had torn a hole clean through the otherwise intact material in that short time and the lock was poking through it. Not cool.

I will have to find some kind of solution for that before the device destroys the remainder of my fine clothing.

You can also get a padlock in black rubber or plastic with rounded edges for the brass. That's what I'm using now on my JB.

    I'll try the
On that particular morning, just over 36 minutes. I'm just getting back into it again after the long, harsh winter, plus I never run for speed, just exercise.

I'll look around for the rubber-coated locks and see if that helps.

I really like the caged rooster t-shirts at your link and almost hit the buy button, but I would prefer to find one without the blatant "Dick" label on it.

    Cool, I'm a runner too ,
    5K in training (3Xweek) about 28minutes, in the latest 10K race, I ran a 54:49.
Next sunday, I'll go for half marathon in Brussels(+13miles).
I will be unlocked for that distance ;-)

    regards
