I use a ring that is big enough to put my penis in first, then pull the sac through, then pop the balls through. I find any ring I have start balls first ultimately becomes to uncomfortable to wear very long. I just have to make sure, with the bigger ring, the ring gap is small enough to keep the balls from popping out. I have to have gap down around 10mm or 12mm.
Work out which ball has to go though first, get that through and hold in place with the same hand holding your base ring, then pop the other ball though, push ring up against your scrotum them push your penis through. The more you do it the quicker you will get it done and that should reduce how aroused you get before you get to putting the cage on.
