New to site and chastity-finally!

I wanted to say hello. I am new to the site after reading on and off for a while. After fantasizing of my wife controlling me in chastity for over two years or more, this New Year's Day I finally had the balls to bring it up. She had no idea, and had never been exposed to chastity devices. She isn't into kinky stuff, so she isn't into reading about how others do chastity, as it is far too often very fetish charged. We both love each other very much, and have a small child together, but because if my mental unfaithfulness our physical relationship has always been very shallow. I have tried many, many, many times unsuccessfully to quit porn and masturbation, but have never been able. So I brought up chastity on my own to try to help our relationship. I have a Mature Metal Jailbird on order, about 5 weeks out. After bringing up chastity on Jan 1st, I was able to stay without porn and masturbation for 7 days; the longest time in my life since finding that pastime in 6th grade - 21 years ago. After a morning of considerable temptation, I ordered a cb6000 fake for $60 from Amazon to help me acclimate to wearing chastity, to hopefully be ready to go full time when the Jailbird arrives. I also got it because I knew that the temptation will begin to mount as my deep addiction of masturbation and porn try to argue their way back into control. I'm still porn free. One night before I got my cb6000 fake we did have sex, on the evening of the 7th nite of my stretch. It was great having no guilt involved, and the ability for my mind to be more present during sex. Because of my porn addiction I had always needed to fantasize about many different fantasies during sex to achieve climax. Anyways, so far the cb6000 fake is serving me well. I have only had it threw days, but wore it to work on the second day of having it, and today wore it out hunting. It is really working quite well, and I am looking forward to having a model that I can truly wear 24/7. I am right on the edge of being too large for the cb6000. Although I have found a way to help pull into the device by using cloth inserted through the tip to help slide in. The first two times it took about 20 minutes to get into the device because I was terribly excited about my fantasy of chastity finally coming true, and because I have to squeeze my member into the device even while flaccid. Anyway, this is probably too much info for a first post, but I felt a need to share. I have not told my wife about this blog, and I'm not sure that I will, simply because I think she will beep that it is too close to porn. But I hope to share my experiences as we continue our journey into chastity. I know that only going 7 days is nothing by many people's standards, but it was huge for me. I hope for longer streaks, however since I am doing this primarily to help repair our physical relationship, my wife isn't desiring any type of atypical sex, she just wants me and my and my attention during sex. I will try to help her accept being pleasures without penetrative sex, but I don't know how receptive she will be. I am also curious if anyone is doing chastity for similar reasons?

I hope that my wife will grow to like the idea of chastity. I have asked her a couple of times if she likes me being locked up, and she she said that she would rather me not have to wear it, but that it is the only way that she can know that I'm not lying.

I will take the advice here and simply go slowly. If I just keep wearing the device, and doing well, maybe she will begin to see it diferently.
