A healthy sex life, contrary to traditional belief, doesn't consist of having intercourse frequently. It's more a case of having a good and regular balance of 'feel good' chemicals and hormones in your system, and there are many of them. We often mention the two happy hormones, seratonin and dopamine, on this forum. I thought the article linked below would be of interest, because it refers to yet another component in our blood chemistry that I wasn't aware of before, that has beneficial effects, nitric oxide. I wonder if people who practice chastity have a better than average mental heath profile, because of the positive effects of continual arousal (despite, or more properly as a result of, the denial regime). https://www.freethink.com/health/sex-depression-anxiety
This is very interesting to me. I’ve had bouts of anxiety off and on in the past. I was just telling my wife that I never experience anxiety when she is controlling my orgasms. Of course it’s just anecdotal, but I wonder if there’s something more to it.
Nitric oxide is amazing. Beets have tons of it. In sufficient quantities, it has been clinically shown to reduce blood pressure and increase athletic performance. Unfortunately, I HATE beets. Regarding the topic at hand, I have significant depression. I have not noticed much change from being locked, but honestly, I'm not the horniest person around. Being locked is erotic, but doesn't make me nuts with hormones. Bummer on that one, too.
IMO a healthy sex life is an 8'-tall, 300lbs werewolf sitting on my face and playing with my locked-up junk before/after we share a bottle of wine while watching a bad movie like John Wick or something and mutually complaining about how fucking stupid the general populace is. It's all individual. A "healthy sex life" is one that makes you "happy"
Jesus. Are werewolves really that tall? They look so small in movies. Yet Tom Cruise looks tall in movies but short in person. Crazy how that works.
This is a WHOLE other rabbit hole but yeah, 7-9 feet is the norm. Best not derail this thread with these details.
