Paper clip and pick the tumblers . You need to hold pressure towards the unlock position . Pick or push down the tumblers in the lock until it rotates. Ive been in a similar situation

    Use a paperclip.

Most of these locks only have one pin, it is trivial to pick.

But that’s not what his cage looks like is it?
He asked a question about his cage, not some other cage.

I responded generally, not in direct response to the OP. That's what these words mean:

If I meant his device, the words "his device" would be present, rather than "many devices."

Then why are you responding to a specific question by NOT answering the question?
I could respond by saying, ‘if you go to the shop today, apples are on sale’. Doesn’t help much.

Virtually every thread in the history of the Internet includes meta-discussion. A reply without a direct quote will always require interpretation from a reader as to its intended scope.

Unlike your dopey hypothetical apple response, my first reply did answer the original question in a general manner for the benefit of anyone who may encounter it now or in the future. These locks can usually be picked easily, and can always be drilled out easily. As you note, in many cases the locks can be broken with pliers as well.

By manner of reply, you repeatedly posted back that the locks can always be broken with pliers, even when encased within the steel body of a cage, which is false.

When I am engaged in a discussion that I feel has drifted from the original scope sufficiently that it is unhelpful to the OP, I simply state that, rather than quoting another poster and ingnoring what they have written. Had your first reply to me been "the lock on OP's cage can be broken off with pliers, no need for a drill" I'd have upvoted and moved on.
