Id have to gage up, currently at a 4g, and it says need a minimum of 2g. Couple questions for you guys who have it Is the hollow area enough room to provide enough flow? Can you stand and pee? Any issue with long term use. I go months without unlocking? Any other input greatly appreciated.
I am looking at the same scenario. I am cautious because it could lead to a UTI. Frequently I swim in the ocean wonder if anything can stay in there?

I have one and wore it for a few weeks. Peeing is still messy because you can't put pressure on the bottom to seal the PA when caged. So it leaks. Also i used a cage the barly let the hollow tube fit though the end. It gave me issues because of the lack of movement and the base stuck to the bottom of the PA and when i took it out it was stuck to the tissue and ripped and bled. Took a week and a half to heel. I ordered a cage with a large slit on the end so i will have more movement. Hope the movement keeps from getting adherence again

I have a BA-28 with the hollow S-type hook. And I love it! Very comfortable fit and no spills whatsoever when urinating. Actually my stream is better and cleaner than with my regular PA jewelry. My longest streak is four months without any removal… cleaning is relatively easy with my open-style cage so “not any removal” is really none at all. No issues at all for me this is the perfect combination!
Hello. I have the BA-25 with a 0Ga S-type hollow PA hook. Unless I really force the stream, there is no leak. It is also pretty straight. That said, I always sit to urinate. That said, I think you should stretch to 0Ga before using a hollow type PA-hook. As for swimming in the ocean, I would probably avoid it.
