Tether Spout, sounding, dilation etc

    Im always interested it adding security to the cage, I really like the idea of trying a tether spout but they are expensive for something I may not get on with so I got this one to try and the insertion/removal looks easier than the spout:

    Even with the smallest 11mm ring and lube I found could not get it fully in, there was no pain and I didnt push too hard but after a little bit of blood I immediately stopped.

    I guess my question is, if I were to get some sounds would I be able to slowly stretch and build up to it?

    i have similar from Amazon, are you talking about difficulty inserting the spout or the retainer ? Seems if the spout is small enough to be put in pain/blood free the retainer should easily go in sideways....

    The ali express one comes with a tube that you assemble the spout with then insert and remove just the application tube, just couldn't get it in lol I think its 10 or 11mm

    I had a look at this on AliExpress if you follow the instructions to labelled " User manual" and ignore the diagram it makes much more sense.

    Thanks there is another seller selling a smaller 8mm version so will try that when it gets here

    That method makes no sense to me. If it could go in that way it could come back out just as easily....

    The method explained by @good2fun , see post 7 in this thread, works very well. With practice a tether spout can be inserted without the thread I have found.

    Get a set of sounds and determine what size you need, don't want a too small or too large tetherspout.

    A thread is not needed. In my case it is used for pull out prevention by connecting it to the cage. A padlock or a plastic seal with a standard spout works too.
    I like that spout and cage are building a unit.
