Still waiting on my custom BAW but do people have any padlock recommendations?

I have mostly used the magic locker type in the past and the wolfdog padlocks that come with the cheap cages are terrible they go rusty and seize up after a few days/weeks.

Nice to have features if possible but not essential:
    • Good level of security
    • Ruberized to cut down on noise
    • Compact size/lightweight
    • Decorative?
    What are people using?

    Thanks :)

I found one website that sells locks with stylish keys for kh. They mostly look like hearts and have stones sometimes. They look more like jewelry than an actual usable key.

Abus is good as well as a Master lock. I think the Abus is also available in stainless. I’ve had no problem with the brass making noise. My wife likes the looks of a padlock over the barrel type.

Don’t over think it. I’ve had my Master lock for six years. It’s been in salt water, pool water, showers and the damned thing always stays locked.

Another vote for abus here, very good quality. but a word of warning if you have a cage type device and poke out from the bars, the edges can be quite sharp!

Agreed; I had to file down the corners. Once done it is great.

Likewise - had to take a Dremel with an abrasive wheel to the edges and corners of mine.
