    Hello my fellow chaste people

    Has anybody got a custom fit chastity cage? If so, where did you get it from and was it worth it?

    I'm hoping to be able to get a custom made metal cage as I am thinking it would be super comfy if it was made to measure, it would mean being chaste 24/7 would be that little bit easier (not that it's difficult for me but there are times when it's a bit uncomfortable)

    100% yes.
    Iv got a badassworkroom bd21 I think it is. Defo worth the money. Iv been in it 5 weeks and it's so much better than the cheap ones iv tried before.
    Probably cheaper in the long run too cos I'd imagine it will outlast cheaper cages by a long shot.

    Totally worth it!

    I’ve been playing around with over a dozen (mostly cheaper / Chinese) generic cages that never felt fully comfortable.

    After getting pierced I decided tot take the plunge and order custom!

    a rigid chastity halfshell
    Which is very comfortable but quite heavy and difficult to clean while caged…

    Went for a titanium Badassworkroom Ba-28P about 10 months ago which is so comfortable that I mostly not even notice it’s there!
    Easy (deep) clean in the shower as well..
    I ca wear this one indefinite…

    Custom devices? Yes, it's worth it, but not before you've worn at least three or four cheap devices for enough time to really understand what works for you for fit, material, comfort, hygiene...

    A decade ago I would have said yes, everyone needs to eventually get a custom sized device, but these days, while there is quite a lot of junk out there (materials, fit, surface finish, ...), there are many devices that are reasonably good quality for little more than the cost of a good meal or a bottle of booze. And once you have one of those that works, why do you then need a custom device?

    One reason to get a custom cage would be correct sizing. Off-the-shelf offerings are quite limited in that respect.

    There seems to be a dearth of custom options available in the UK.

    I haven't managed to find any that look suitable as yet.

    Male Chastity Now in Seattle. He is very responsive with great workmanship. He has found the right balance between secure and light weight. I can attest, there is no reason outside of medical, it needs to be removed.

    Mine is a custom 3D print, and was definitely worth it, I had it made by a 3D printing company called sculpeo, ita a great fit and the finish was good to.

    Steelwerks for me. It’s absolutely worth it. It’s so well designed and fitted that it never needs to come off.

    Mature Metal Jailbird here. Tried a couple off the shelf ones first and once my wife decided she was 100% committed we went custom, both for the fit and the quality. It was pricey but my wife and I think it was money well spent.

    I own 2 MCN cages and now wear a Red Chili cage. The Red Chili is more art work, but also more expensive and heavier. I think for the light weight and cost, MCN is tough to beat value wise.

    Are they really "custom" though? The cages have a few parts. Each part (cage, ring, spacer) can be different. A custom cage asks you which parts you want. A non-custom cage typically provides you with a few options. For instance, the vice comes with 4 base rings, 3 spacers, one cage, although you can order the cage in a couple of sizes. At least that's my impression of the "custom" cages so far. It's not like they are taking a mold of your junk and designing the cage specifically to match your shape.

    I have 2 primary cages, my cheap Happygo and a BON4M. The one I use the vast majority of the time is the HappyGo that we purchased years ago for around $50.00. We did try a custom made on and for some reason it just didn't exactly right and never felt comfortable. My cheap one is the most comfortable of the devices we tried over the years. We do use the BON4M for some punishment play, we have 2 cages, the M and the Micro and gives us some options for punishment play.

    Id say something to consider on custom cages. Unless you measure really well, And you have a pretty good idea of what your gap is from using other cheaper cages, odd are you will have to send your cage back to get adjusted unless they can tell you how to do it by email.

    So that being said something to consider is that depending on where you live in the world if you buy a cage outside of your country it will have to go through customs etc. Once you get it and if it's not a good fit you'll have to send it back for adjustments based on what you and the maker discuss about what's happening on the initial fitting.

    I had a decent idea of what my cage length, diameter and base ring should be. Unfortunately there was no really good way to decide on what gap I should go with, so I used the gap of a cage that fit me best at the time which I'm being generous with the word best.

    So that's why I went with mature metal. They are local to where I live. I've had to send it back for adjustments 3 times. Two times for getting the gap correct, and once for changing the base ring size and shape and having them make it so it will accept a security screw. I finally just got it back two days ago from the last gap adjustment and I have been taking it one day at a time. Test fitting It, and I think it's finally dialed in, haven't had to take it off due to discomfort, chaffing, ball burn, etc. None of the issues I was having have returned yet. Also I don't have to use any lubrication what so ever since I've had it on for 2 days now and I live a pretty active lifestyle.

    I wanted a red chili cage but they're from Spain so I could only imagine how much longer it would have taken to finally get one of their cages dialed in as close as I can, yet alone the money to have them adjust it, and shipping costs.

    So if you do go custom it is def worth it, especially if you are confident on your measurements.

    That was helpful. I would use the sizing from the cage I currently have. But I have a round base ring. If I were to go with an oval ring, how do I size that? Another question was titanium vs steel. The mature metal charges $100 more for the titanium. Is it just that it's stronger? Seeing as I'm not inclined to cut my way into it, I'm not sure there's a benefit to titanium unless it's ligheter, a nicer look. I don't know.

    Titanium is way lighter than steel.
