I'm just curious as to how many guys here if any use the smallest( 1 1/2" / 38mm) A ring? There must be a need for them as the Millers include them with every device! I'm using the middle size right now with my CB6000s and just out of curiosity tried the next smallest ring(while still locked that is!) and it just fit and the base of my stub. But I think it would be to tight and would probably at the least cause edema. Would love to see one in use! :)

Interesting question. I too would love to see that. I just dropped to the middle sized ring on my 6K and think it may be too tight. I don't know what Edema is, but it doesn't sound like anything I want. I suspect it has to do with circulation. I will be watching my unit closely for awhile.

    it is what it is

i have a 39mm a-ring with my loris which i prefer over the 42mm i wear right now.
i made a speech about that in pansytarts measuring-thread so i wont go into any more detail here but for me it is just that more comfortable and doesnt restrict anything.
you only have to make sure that the device doesnt pull forward and the a-ring stays where it is.

Edema is a swelling condition caused by the fluid staying in the layer under the skin. I'm sure you've seen some of the guys here looking real puffy. That's usually edema. Vacuum pumping creates it too.
