I see BAWR are now making tether spots in a range of sizes and with a range of retaining ring dimensions. One thing I notice is that the rings seem to be quite loose on the spout. Does anyone know if this is an issue? I would also be interested in any general reviews of their spouts. Much appreciated, s
I still don't understand how these things work. Or once inside urethra how the hell do you get it out. I can't use a PA since first piercing healed up and second bit of a disaster with only a tiny piece of flesh the 2 holes!. So think a tether sprout would be a good alternative! Tia!
You get them in with help of another spout and some kind of cord (f.e.fleece for teeth). That might be somewhat tricky if you do not exactly know how to do it. Out is easier - you use another spout to push the original one through the retainer and them softly squeeze / massage them out. No problem at all.
Actually I found a link again where someone explained it really well ! http://tetheredchastity.blogspot.com/2015/08/tetherspout-installation.html?m=1&zx=91d937ee6cd44ef9ä
Inserted mein today with the 14mm retainer, was put back in my cage and as I sat down a few times the tether pulled out. I ordered the E2, guess I will try the E3 now the biggest retainer is then 15mm.
If I were you I might ask if they might do custom ones with 16 or 17 in that case, because you would not need the smaller sones with 12-14mm in the first place. I am wondering thoughas pulling out 14mm should mean you could even use a 14mm dilator wihout a problem - and that would be a big one for sure.... As you have first hand experience with them one question though: Are the retainers really hat loose on the spouts as someone said before or are they a somewhat good fit ?
Just wondering aloud, if the retainers are a loose fit on the spout, could that allow them to "lean" whilst in and come out more easily as a result? Wondering since retention relies on the retainer being kept side on to the urethra.
How much easier might depend on how much room there is, but yes, in theory it would become easier. That is why I asked how much room there is and how much the retainer could be tilted compared to the original.
I have written BAWR about bigger retainer rings. The rings are a little bit loose on the spout but I dont think they can lean enough to pull out easier, but I am no expert. I do think they must be a little loose to flip and slide onto the spout easily once inside.
Recieved my bigger retainer rings (15,16,17,18mm) from BAWR yesterday. the 17mm fits inside me perfect. My wife made me lock up right away, will be unlocked later to remove the hair and then relocked. I must say its all very comfortable.
I have a question about your experience with the tether spout. When I wear my tether spout it starts to hurt after awhile. I think it is because my spout is pushed in and out of my urethra by my pants, in addition, I also get sore just from the constant pulling on my urethra from bending over from everyday normal activities. Does anyone else have this same experience? Are you able to wear your tether spout for long periods of time with no pain? If so, what am I do wrong?
I think I've been having a very similar experience to you. I've just reduced the diameter of the tether to see if that makes a difference. I'll report the outcome when things have had a chance to reach equilibrium again.
I have tried different sizes. My guess is that the spout moves in and out too much. Let me know what you discover
Your problems might be caused by too spouts that are too gbig for you or just by beeing somewhat sensitive. If a smaller spout does not solve the problem you need time to adapt. Go for small periods of time and make sure to heal outcompletely before inserting the spout again. Given time your problems should go avay completely.
Now that Tether Products is out of stock of everything, are there other vendors for thether spouts? I’m not sure titanium is a good idea since it’s nonmagnetic.
Found the perfect setup for us, BAWR E2 tetherspout wit 17mm retainer ring and a cobra style cage. My wife (KH) said I wont be let out untill the 5th of April, her birthday. Then I will finally be able to shave down there and then the cage goes back on. The only play I get is milking and pegging, no orgasams allowed the first 6 months of 2023, only anal orgasams are allowed.
Well, reducing the diameter of the retainer got off to a promising start. However, after a few days I got nagging discomfort and some irritation. Had to take it out to let everything settle and have not gone back to it yet. Will look at the surface finish to see if I can impetus that before a retry too. I think in my case, some of it may be down to the way the spout is held in the cage. It's fairly rigid, so side to side movement or erection attempts can put extra pressure on just one side. A bar style cage giving more flexible securing of the tether may be a solution...
Now that everything had settled down, the smaller retainer is now too small It won't pull straight out, but with the movement available in the cage, it can get enough sideways, and pop! Back to the drawing board, but will require acquisition of a suitable new retainer Anyone else experience a narrow margin between too big and too small?
I’m starting to think it is the angle of the tether spout more an anything that causes irritation and it’s ability to move around. The correct angle and secured in place is the key, I think. I think you need to go back to a bigger retaining ring but secure the tether spout so it doesn’t move around by your jeans or whatever. That is my next experiment I am going to try
