Everyone always asks about wearing a chastity cage through airport security, but I am curious to know if anyone has any experience wearing one through other security checkpoints, like going into a big concert or more importantly, going to a court case.
I was wanded by security at a concert and set it off. Told them I was wearing jewelry down there. Got a smirk but they let me through. I would suspect court might be a bit tougher though.
I’ve worn mine through standard metal detectors at fairgrounds multiple times and other activities such as the Immersive Van Gogh show in NYC. Never triggered, but my cage is titanium. Never tried airport security and have no plans (or need) to attempt. Sorry, have not tried at a courthouse either. My prepared explanation is “body jewelry” but never needed so far.
I will be going through airport security in a couple of months, and I intend to just say it's a metal chastity cage, I don't see any point in beating around the bush.
I have gone to court and had no problem getting through. Went to Universal Studios in Orlando and set it off. Just told them I had a peircing down there and they sent me through
I had to attend court to give evidence, got through no problems at all. But I did set off the pop up detectors at the train station once, got taken to one side and was wanded, the officer said it was the button fly on my jeans, and went on my way.
Over the years I've been through three security scans in different courts with my non magnetic steel cage (a magnet has only the faintest attraction to it.) Each time I had completely forgotten about having the cage and courts having security scanners. Once was a non event with the scanner not detecting it, but the other two needed me to blame metal buttons and zips on my trousers for triggering the alarm and producing court documents to show that I was very unlikely and really didn't have any motive to be armed and dangerous! None of them got anywhere near asking me to go to a private room for closer inspection.
I was in a court case defending my rights. As I explained to the security guard, I'd hardly be trying to physically attack the court to win my case, would I?
* A couple of concerts, different venues - none of them set off. * A couple of convention centres - none of them set off. * A secure work location - i.e. high value warehouse. Strange one this as my work boots set it off everytime, but something around the mid body i.e. belt, trouser pockets only set it off sometimes. Security thought it was my belt or the rivets on my work trousers. No conclusion here. * A different secure work location i.e. offices of a multi-nationals. Never set them off * Various tourist attractions in Paris - Eiffel Tower, Catacombs, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay. Most set off, but a friendly smile, a shrug of the shoulders and pulling keys out of a pocket seemed to pacify the security guard. Been to courts here in the UK but never had to go through a security screen. A
Been through airport and non-airport (cruise terminal - and Re boarding in ports), concerts, sporting events etc etc. and never had issue with either my jailbird or GA2. Even with a wand, is it detects, it’s body jewelry and you’re good to go.
Over the holidays I traveled through the UK (I am US based) with my full Behind Barz belt. My experience in airports is that going through either metal detectors or body scanners will require some explanation, however, I’ve found that if I put on an air of confident and am proud of my chastity, it makes things much easier. After the TSA agents call for a supervisor (who are usually well versed with chastity), it is not a big deal. But, you asked about other metal detectors. When entering the House of Parliament in London I faced another metal detector and the same thing happened. The guard asked me what it was, and after a 5 second confident explanation it was done. So, I think the takeaway here is to be proud and confident of your chastity, and with a friendly dialogue, all should go well.
