So 14 days in, there’s a break in Locktober. That’s actually the longest I’ve been locked up. When I took my cage off for a weekly deep clean and inspection, I found a red area where my penis meets the scrotum. I may have not been getting things as dry as I thought. That’s the hardest area to get to. There was no pain. 24 hours later after antibacterial and antifungal cream, it looks better, but not gone. The cage stays off until this is resolved. Has anyone else had this problem?
Yep, but I have a plan to get things dry. Basically, put a cotton pad up between the tube and scrotum. This dries everything up. I've also found cotton pads can be used if you get a bit sore between the base ring. Could also try using cotton buds to dry parts as well.
I had these issues with my other cages. It came from a tight gap between A ring and tube. You have to widen this somehow. Metal is bendable. Since I wear this cage I have now i didnt have any issues. I am wearing it now for around 20 days. And even didnt take it off for cleaning. I use a toothbrush to go over the tube itself and the skin. Works really good. My lady doenst have to inspect me while cleaning so it is a winwin situation for everyone. I will do this till i have issues. What kind of cage do you wear?
It’s a cobra clone. I’ve worn it for a week before with no problems. I wonder about the underwear I’ve been wearing too. Normally, I’m a commando guy, but I need some support with the cage. I’ve been wearing thongs. They may not be as breathable as they should be.
Ah okay. I only had steel cages. Maybe there is a sharp edge there on the bottom. Or the gap is to narrow, as mentioned. Since it is plastik, you can file it down or try out sanding paper. This should work. And of course there is much moisture. The most stinky part in my cage is there where the ballsakc is pressed against the tube under and at the sides and on the A ring, where the balssack lies on the ring and no movekent is possible. The moisture, skin debris to their best. But with my brush it works fine to keep it clean. The only issues with my cages did I have, when thei didnt fit. Out of 6 or so only 2 fit properly. What is a commando guy?
Commando means not wearing underwear. I usually only wear underwear when I’m wearing my cage as I need the support. It really seems to fit well, so I’m hoping it’s just moisture. It’s the same are you described where my scrotum touches the bottom of the tube.
thongs or briefs are the way to go, good support makes all the difference, it does sound like it’s moisture, just need to check and dry your self every trip to the bathroom. It’s all part of being locked.
Be careful with the clones, they may not use body safe 3d printing material. I had a horrible reaction to mine which took time to manifest itself, there's a thread on it somewhere and it turned out I wasn't the only one
Well, we took a week off the cage to let the skin heal. I'm back in with a few lessons learned. There was no cheating. The cage for me is mostly a symbol anyway. Thank all of you for your advice.
Talc powder on your balls after a shower to ensure dryness and some good support, be that via underwear choice or a support strap.
I’m starting to think you’re right. 3 days back on and a reaction again. I was meticulous with cleaning and keeping dry. I ordered a steel cage last night.
The plastic from China varies in quality and composition. Normally Nylon but could also be a mix with extra chemicals. Metal is probably best but, cheap metal has similar issues ( like earrings that turn you skin green). Just keep trying or find a more expensive stainless cage.
