Now that I have your attention. Does anyone have experience with having a lot of foreskin, of you find means to keep it retracted, will it eventually stay retracted by itself?
I think it's dangerous to keep foreskin retracted too long. "paraphimosis" is the scary medical term.
but that said, the "headlock" feature of most CherryKeeper cages is very effective at keeping foreskin back, ime.
Paraphimosis is a potential issue, but I think it is largely based on a few factors - how tight the foreskin is, how much of it there is, and how much growth there is during an erection (as this can increase tightness). Personally, I can go about 3-4 days before anything starts to happen, and that's not in a cage. The pressures in a cage could easily pull that time down to overnight. Sometimes, foreskin sucks. But the one advantage is that when unlocked, and exposed, the glans is SUPER sensitive... The lightest touch is electrifying to me!
A plus for me is that I have an abundance of foreskin therefore I think I'm ok avoiding this condition. I too have a cherrykeeper that works okish at helping hold it back.
Of course, I'm not a doctor... I'd also recommend keeping a close eye on it. You know your body. Good luck!
I also have a good amount of excess foreskin and find it to be two issues I wish I had a good resolve for. 1 - The foreskin when it slides forward creates problems peeing, making it somewhat hard to empty the "tank", resulting in spilling, on floor , underpants and so on. I have tried two pull the foreskin back as I enter the cage , but it usually makes it way forward. 2- Foreskin peeking out of the cage. With smaller openings in the fornt this is minimized but the problem 1 , escalates...
I have been fighting with the Ouse for years and decided that I will not get partially circumcised, even though I actually disapprove this practice.
Not really excessive, just nice enough to cover the dickhead with the peehole tip peeking out most of the time. But once inside the cage, it is fully retracted and stays hugged onto the neck. It is due to such condition that any excessive foreskin is actually cannibalised by the body as it no longer has to support periodic pulling/tugging and can maintain its elasticity in its original state. Ok, put a caveat on aging eventually. The foreskin is just wonderful.. no? #teamuncut
