One could "what if" this subject and many others related to this lifestyle forever. If you are looking for a clear cut, black and white definition of what a ruined orgasm is or isn't, I don't believe there is one. Like most facets of sexual experiences, if it works for you, the act can be labeled whatever your heart desires. Strictly one's opinion and who cares what anyone else thinks. What folks are seeking in forums like this is that their methods and end results are accepted by others. Honestly, I lost sight of this.

Bottom line is that I know what I want for PK, what he needs, and when he needs it. It is not his choice. As long as the activity meets my expectations and results, I can call it whatever I wish, including ruined orgasm. My satisfaction is the only thing that matters.

Thanks for your responses @Maddie Mae, I'm not really asking what each KH allows as far as orgasms go, I'm basing my question on the definition of a ruined orgasm being one that doesn't trigger a refractory period, so I probably should have made that clearer. I'm asking which types of orgasm do not trigger a refractory period (RP)? Like, if manage to orgasm from anal sex, would that trigger one? If you're caged and a vibrator is used on your cage and that manages to trigger an orgasm, would that also trigger an RP?

 

I forgot to mention I'm usually soft or not fully erect when I have these pleasureless releases.

I believe the first time I was completely flaccid.

Even during this past experience, I wasn't fully erect, as I had the sizing rings on that make erections uncomfortable or painful.

 

That's a good question I asked the same to myself some time ago. According to my experience and from my point of view there is not a dictionary definition of ruined orgasms. It is a general concept where the sub doesn't get that full gratification generating frustration and keeping horniness and full attention to please and serve his KH (that's the final goal). So, saying that, for me doesn't matter the way it is done (assgasm, piv, vibrator while caged, etc) because all of them will create frustration, horniness and devotion, so all of them will create a ruined orgasm. For me the more frustration the more the sub has to fight mentally, then the better ruined orgasm it was. A KH should try different methods and see which one frustrated most to her sub and play with that. For some will be assgasms but for others for example will be having an erection and stimulation, stopped many seconds before and being caged again.
To sum up, for me ruined orgasm is considered according to the results, no the way it was done and you can measure it with the frustration to define how good it was. You can fuck a pillow being caged like a desperate dog, doesn't matter.
This is only the way I see it, I don't pretend to convince anyone. The idea is to share point of views and grow all together.
