Have never had a device with an urethral tube. Recently ordered one from AliExpress & now, we wait. Have been reading many posts here & on other discussion boards & have realized, urethral tubes offer no increase in security as it can be easily removed. Is this a correct assumption?

they definitely help but it depends on the device.

There is a urethral insert that is impossible to remove, look at my gallery.

It is more secure than a piercing without the piercing because you can always cut the ring off, you cant get to the retainer because its inside of you.

When I get time Ill buy a 3D printer and make my own spouts and retainers, just dont have time. The one I am wearing now is perfect and impossible to escape

Thanks for the reply & suggestion to view your pics as you have confirmed our fears... unless modified, a urethral tube provides zero security & really does not make sense to risk a UTI. Dam it!

I have never had a UTI in 7 years of using a looker2, so not sure how I have confirmed your fears and I really haven't been that careful with it.

Ill state again more clearly the looker 2 urethral insert definitely helps with security, I have never ventured to pull out the back of the device, but I think I probably could with some difficulty, but then how would I get back in, i think it would be impossible to sneak back in. That said using a device where you CANT pull out is a whole different mental trip which is offered by the tether. The looker 2 is 7 years old, it cost AUD$550ish and it looks brand new even after 7 years. It cant be compared with a knock off

Even when I first started using the tether, I had some swelling this turned out to be a sizing issue that caused some swelling not a UTI.

It is common knowledge urine is one of the best antiseptics there is, and this keeps the bugs out.

This is the device that has been ordered. As you can see, there is no way to lock or modify the tube to increase security which, was the main goal. The flexible tube was purposely chosen as it is our first time using an urethral tube. Seems we may need to explore stainless steel that have a security feature of some sort. Will look at the Looker 2 insert you mentioned.

Dont sweat it. The device you ordered can be modified.to incorporate a teather spout which is where the security is coming from. Per cogman I think you will be pretty secure.

I once seen very detailed instructions on how to easily insert a tether spout i.e. using dental floss, etc. Can't seem to find it now. Not even sure if it was this site.

I have a birdcage style device (slightly tighter spacing than yours) that my KH recently had me add a similar tube to what you are getting (learned I could pull out without). I dont see how it is escapable.

We put the cap on with some locktite and pliers, so it is very hard to unscrew. Even if I did, the tube cant be pulled out of the cage. It also expands my girth just a bit making a very tight fit with my ergo base ring so it is hard to pull back. My only hope would be to use q tips to force my penis 1" into my body, past tube, and then work it out. Nope.

No UTI or irritations so far (1 wk this time), but I dont stop leaking from the extra stimulation.

We still have not received the cage... getting a bit frustrated but, comes with the territory when one orders from China.

Anyway, because we don't have it, found your statement that the tube "can't be pulled out of the cage" interesting. We are assuming, from the pictures of the one we ordered, the tube could be unscrewed & pulled out which, would take all the security of the tube with it. Wish the tube had some way of locking so it could not be unscrewed. Guess we will see if any modifications can be done to achieve this when or if we ever get the cage.

It's easily escapable. Pull the cage away from the body, and pull out the back. The catheter extends to or past the base ring, so it's equally easy to re-enter.

I have two, and while I don't have a lot of hope for the cage (I've also found being crumpled into the short cages results in a horrific smell after 3-4 days), I've tried cutting down the catheter so it would be inaccessible in a longer cage, which would make reinsertion essentially impossible, and therefore escape-evident. Unfortunately, two attempts at shortening the catheter have resulted in spectacular urine leakage.

Well, the first attempt was a failure... not due to pulling out but, the constant sensations as the tube moved in & out of the urethra. It wasn't painful but it was different & uncomfortable. I'm a grower, not a shower and, I also turtle. Purposely waited for the turtle moment & was pleased to see that the tube was long enough not to allow me to pull off it & escape as you described above. However, started thinking how much of the tube was now exposed & could possibly pick up & then transfer bacteria into my urethra when the "turtle" grew. Really concerned about infection & UTI.

Well, giving it another go. Trying a different lube to see if that may decrease/change the sensations that were felt yesterday. Wish me luck.

Does the sensation of the urethral tube decrease after time?

I get use to the insert for normal wear. Bascially forget its there. The insert does add extra pressure when my clit trys to get hard.
