Ordered my device (ordered 2 actually) and received it after only 12 days all the way to Australia. Way faster than what the Shapeways website initially indicated. Initial feelings are absolutely all positive. I must say I'm very glad I read up on the finish, as had I not done this and read people's advice that the "rough" finish was not a problem, I would prolly have reacted negatively at first glance. I was uncertain what I would need, so had ordered: 1 x Cage - Short 1 x 48mm Circular Ring 1 x Headlock Cage - Short - Medium 1 x Wide Oval Ring - Large Essentially I bought 2 complete cages that I hoped would cover all bases. All of the parts are extremely well made, and fit together perfectly. I started with the oval ring and the headlock cage. I struggled with the cage (I had read about the panty hose to get the head in) but still struggled. I have a small cock but still struggled. I lubed the cage and head and it seemed to make it's way in but after a couple of hours I could feel the head not in the cage so swapped for the regular cage. It's way easier to get into but still feels super restrictive but comfortable. One VERY positive aspect is that I can piss with NO MESS AT ALL. I reckon I'll even be able to do it standing. Now there's a bonus. I'm looking forward to my first night. It feels (I know everyone says this) like I'm actually wearing nothing after just a couple of hours. Absolutely NO sharp edges or pinching, even when putting it on. So far so great!! I'll be reporting back soon on progress. I'll stick with the oval ring tonight as it offers reduced gap. I like everything to be in it's place. I'll try the circular ring in the morning to determine the difference.
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience with the Cherry Keeper! Getting into a HeadLock cage can be tricky - if your head is longer than the inside depth you may not fully "seat", which is what sounds like happened to you. I look forward to how things go after a few days
You were indeed right about the length of my head. First time ever that anything to do with my dick being too big!! The cage needs to be about 5mm longer for my head to fit in. Not fussed, the other cage fits fine. As far as the rest of the Cherry Keeper, it's a very comfortable device. I have needed to round off the back corners of the locking block, where it joins the ring. Those 2 sharp corners were digging in when I sat, which unfortunately I do a lot as I spend a lot of time driving as well as having an office job. I have also spent some time with some wet and dry sandpaper smoothing the ring as it seemed to stick around the scrotum a bit. Otherwise, very comfortable and light weight but at the same time feels nice and solid. The absolute best thing about the Cherry Keeper is that not only do I not piss all over the place, but for the most part the eye of my dick aligns with the slot at the end and I can PISS STANDING UP!!!! I've ordered some of the Rit Dye as sanding removed the color. I'm going deep red.
Very interested in updates. Wife saw the CK and is eager to try it out. Our My-Steel is going back for adjustments and she thinks my MM Jailbird is too heavy. She feels the CK will make ‘Joey’ look fashionable. Thanks in advance.
I have finished sanding and smoothing the cage, and it's super comfortable now. Most especially the round ring and standard short cage. After the sanding, the color was quite patchy. This was after sanding: I bought some RIT dye remover and boiled up the cages on the stovetop to very successfully remove pretty much all of the color. Took about half an hour. This is after removing the dye: Then I dyed all of the parts "Racing Red". I had actually ordered "Deep Red" but they were out of stock and offered the alternate color. The dyeing process took about 25 minutes. I'm very happy with the result. Let me know what you all think. Very rich and consistent color.
A trick I use for getting into the headlock properly is to put it on as best I can and then use a Q-Tip to pull the crown past the headlock to seat it property. Once that is done then there is no slippage. I've also found that these printed cages can get a bit smelly. Cleaning and soaking them in water only did so much after awhile so I tried using Efferdent dental cleaning tablets. Works great. Enjoy your cherrykeeper. I love my collection.
Great color on that! I actually did not know about dye remover. I've been playing with resin prints lately, but I do have a faded red one that could use some new life! (I call it Cherry Red of course )
@Slave_face Mate, stick with it and do seek minor tweaks to your cage components. I’ve worked with @JoiseLynn for several tweaks and can’t state enough how happy and comfortable mine is. I’ve been a ‘long-ish’ wearer of a HeadLock device with no issues. Once you get your ‘perfect’ fitting device, inquire about the special finish that virtually eliminates any ‘funk’ smell if you routinely shower. Yes, tweak the head cage size for once your head is in it it should ‘turtle’ out - mine never has (but haven’t worn out in winter time yet). I have nothing but praise for JosieLynn’s creations. BTW: instead of using a q-tip to get the head in, I crafted a short plastic (lack of a better term) poker that aids in pushing my head into his rightful home - when only taken out under supervision for a full cleaning, of course.
Seems like forever since I’ve worn my Cherry Keeper due to an injury to my scrotum. While i was waiting to allow time for the dye to dry (didn’t know if it would somehow rub off if I wore it too soon) after my previously mentioned re-coloring effort I wore one of my steel Chinese knockoffs for just a day. I couldn’t believe the rub injury it gave me!! Anyway, a week later and I can finally get to wear my new “Racing Red” Cherry Keeper. I reckon it looks fantastic. Here are a couple of pics.
I have to agree with everything Sf says about the CK. I received my a few weeks ago. Wife locked me up same day for 5 days. Two day break and now back in. I haven't done any sanding. My head fits in the headlock just fine. Good quality device. The locking block is sharp. It bothers my wife when we spoon in bed so I have to blunt that down. I also ordered the permalocker but it's not in yet. Kinda nervous about that!!
I will be ordering the cherry keeper small in blue very soon I can’t wait to be locked in something lighter and hopefully more comfortable

I do really love your cage!! I find them almost perfect but the rought finishing hurt me so much.... so I tryed best finishing i hoe it works for me, I have to make a airplane travel so your permanent locks are in the pocket thank u so much for your answer if I can suggest u the bat fit for me is knockoff nub, but I prefer your headlock cage Try to mix them, the nub ring feels very comfortable
From the Nub, the Micro is even smaller, and the Stub is a good choice if the Micro is too small for you. The Short is actually the same length as the Nub tube (50mm). It's about measuring yourself and finding which one is the best match.
Now I have the right one!!! thanks everybody, I had to buy a bigger oval ring, it was the problem. With the right one it 3 days I’m locked and really happy..... my KH much more! I suggest to everybody to look for a bigger ring, and possibly the nicest and less cheap version. I think tha if it was in the same material of Holy Trainer it would be perfect. absolutely the most comfortable, light and almost invisible. Only at the gym I have to be careful land choose the right pant.... Almost perfect, sorely I’ll go for another one
