    All cruise lines seem to have metal detectors on the ships now. I’ve been on multiple cruises from USA as well as Europe. They all had them. An interesting thing happened, I was locked in my stainless steel cage when I went to visit my Father in law at the hospital. I had no idea there would be a metal detector at the entrance. I took a deep breath and walked through. Nothing happened. You just never know.

    Simply do not attempt to wear it eithe off or on the ship! Easy as that! We have been on 20 cruises. There are no scanners once you have boarded the ship. Steven

    The scanners are an issue because they may pick the cage up. When you go on a cruise you can wear a watch,necklace,bracelet or a ring. If being scanned and answering a few questions doesn’t bother you. Than just say it’s your wedding ring that cannot be removed by anyone except your beloved wife. I’m sure you could wear it all the time it’s part of your marriage vows and believe. The Question isn’t if it’ll be noticed. The Question is how comfortable are You and your Wife with having others know about your commitment to her.

    I've never taken my wedding ring off and never set off a metal detector! To be honest I have never thought about taking it off!

    I wear a wedding ring almost all the time. It’s just a little bigger is more than one ring and isn’t on my finger. It’s my commitment to my Lovely Wife. LFL
