Yes, urination with that kind of front on the tube is an absolute mess.

 

The one on the left is a solid tube design but has the same openings on the front as the one you are considering. Absolutely have to sit and it's requires a bit of dabbing to prevent drips. Hygiene will be less of an issue with the more open design.

The other two eliminate most of the problems with urination but I don't like how the end of my penis pokes through the bars.

 

I really haven't worn the larger one and the smaller one was more novelty. Even flaccid the end of my penis pokes through and I find that annoying. Now I've used it for a little self T&D and my penis will push through, rather uncomfortably. Which might be the point...

If you're interested in that style, you might want to take a look at the A271. The vertical bars are closer together (about 1.5mm) and there is another horizontal bar. It does have an anatomical ring that doesn't work for me. The A272 is the longer version if you need that.



Another choice, especially if you are looking for something smaller, would be our own JosieLynn's Cherry Keeper. Obviously everyone is different but I am so impressed with how this device has essentially eliminated any discomfort with an erection. There's something about it that just grabs me and won't let things go any further.

 

I have no idea how VAT or any import duties effect things in the UK but here in the US the Chinese devices (assuming you're willing to wait) are mostly under US$15 including shipping. I think a Cherry Keeper might go for US$35 with shipping. You might also want to take a look on eBay or Amazon. We have a couple of sellers that ship the Chinese devices, for a couple of dollars more, from the US taking wait time from weeks to days. Same for Amazon but even more expensive.

Hi.... a question for the experts.... does anyone have any experience of the device in the pic and whether there are any likely peeing problems with this?? Thanks for any advice//.

 

I use it for a year now. Best choice for the price of 10$.
- Good quality stainless steel. Non-magnetic. Does not rust.
- Open structure. Comfortable. Between thin tubes skin can be folded outside the cage. A great advantage for people with large foreskin. Peeing is also relatively easy since tip may be easily moved between round bars.
- Safety. For me it is not possible to get out of it spontanously. Testicles cannot get out at all until cage is detached.

What could be better:
- Base ring sizes. I needed something between 40mm and 45mm. With a grinder I have transformed smaller one into ~42mm.
- Welding. On the photo above it looks perfectly, in real it was far from perfection. Cage is welded only from outside, leaving some micro gaps inside where dirt is cumulating. Frequently after some time a brush is useful in cleaning.
- Sanding of edges is a must if you're gonna wear it longer. This thin tubes from which the cage is built, are not so 'round' as they look like. Skin may be slighly cut when pressure inside the cage is big.

Hey I actually use a cage like that and it definitely can poke through. My cage is small enough that most of the time it's just about the edge and poking through a tiny bit, but when extra flaccid there's still space. When I get hard it pushes through a bit more. If there's slipperyness and it gets hard slowly the head can slip mostly through and get stuck like that. It doesn't really hurt, but I definitely try not to let that happen.
