Need advice on a small cage

    The one I currently have is pretty much a cheap version of the CB6000s, so the internal cage length is 2.5 inches.

    I am a grower not a shower, so when I am soft I fill about half the cage length, this allows me to still grow quite a bit. I also run into problems with binding up in the cage when I start to get hard.

    I would like use another cheaper(could still be the 100$ range) cage that is smaller, but it seems all the none custom ones I see are the same size for the "small" versions.

    So are there any out there that have a smaller cage length?

    yes there are shorter ones out there but mostly chinese made devices. you can see them on dhgate.

    Have a look on my gallery...there are shorter ones, mine came from eBay, been okay so far!!!!

    It does look like there are quite a few smaller ones in a good price range on that site. Thanks for the tip!
    Happen to know any brands I should watch out for?

    And in an unrelated note. I see that several of the metal ones have a hinged ring... that just seems like it would hurt over time or could pinch. Is that true or do they work out better then one might think?

    well the chinese devices are hit or miss sadly. And they wont usually tell if you if its stainless steel or coated with an alloy. Stainless is best. Yeah I would stay away from hinged rings. I know alot on here seem to like them but they always hurt me.

    my one has got a hingy thing on the ring and the bit of tube as gone now but it don't hurt me. it must be stainless cos it don't rust when i'm in the bath.

    I have been wearing a hinged cage since December and they have the bad habit of pinching, but mine came with a length of soft tubing to cover the hinge. I also used a bit of tubing to keep the opening covered, as well. I found I was getting pinched "up top," too. It now functions like a solid ring. Since making the modifications I have been "good to go." I would stay away from any that have fixed urethral tubes (you will leak pee and run the risk of infection), as well as any that have a "domed" end over the glans (too hard to keep clean).     I found a small metal 1" cage on ebay. However, I bought a Jailbird from mature metal with a 1 1/4" length. My wife wanted to deny me erections too so this small cage does the job. I have spent more for all the inexpensive devices than I did for the Custom Jailbird. Should have went custom from the beginning. The problem with the inexpensive ones is that they are not really made for long term wear and may be uncomfortable. My CB6000 broker twice in one year.
